Today's Blind Items - The Baseball Player

It was a crazy situation over what turned out to be an average player, but at the time, looked to be like he was going to be really good and make a lot of money. To the dismay of the other men in this group scene, three women all wanted this baseball player. He was their age and good looking and they all went after him hard. There was the actress who was on a hit singing show. She wanted the guy for publicity, but promised him she would find whatever women he wanted. Then there was a singer who was A- list at the time. She hooked up with the baseball player but she was horribly drunk and threw up everywhere after which kind of ruined her chances. Then there was the barely barely A- list actress who pretended she knew everything about baseball and that she was huge fan of the guy and the sport. After a few minutes of talking to her, he knew she was lying about it all, but didn't let on. She thought she had seduced him and would be the WAG she always wanted to be. He hooked up with her and gave her a fake phone number when they parted.
