The former B- list family pop group member in her own country and in Asia, turned C- list daytime presenter is jumping on any bandwagon to revive her career. Her team overly inflated her podcast numbers to get a spin off book deal about grieving and dying.
The book was a unmitigated disaster. The tabloids and magazines took absolutely no interest, much less the talk show circuit. She and her publishers were pissed when the book had to be severely edited right before it went to print.
Her dying sister who’s become more popular found out how much private stuff about her was written in the book, after slyly being kept in the dark about it for months, so she and her manager demanded it be removed.
The stories about the dying sister was the book’s big sell. The book did make the bestseller list, but it was a bad week and sold 890 copies.
