She scraped the other side of her car parking too close to a concrete post. She then went to this huge escalator that is used to move between levels. She set her body on the top step and swayed there for perhaps and instant or two before tumbling down 50 or 60 steps. Her body halted by a guy who was most of the way down. Her friends rush and help her and pick her up. They make sure she is doing OK and they move to the next escalator down. Her friends hold on to her. The hero then took command of the remnants of a legendary fighter group and created another legendary fighter group. He was even the favorite of the wife of a foreign leader who spoke with a southern accent. He wrote a book about this in three days. The book is so definitive that it has never been out of print. A movie was made. The war hero became friends with a movie mogul who gave him the keys to his private beach house. There he bedded practically every glamorous actress from the 40s and 50s. Part of the attraction was that he was a genuine war hero, and part of it was that he was very charming.
In the 1950's he would change his pattern. Instead of one night stands, he has a few steady partners. Sometime in the mid 50s he was accused of misusing government funds to entertain an actress. The war hero chose to resign rather than to stand before a court martial. He did much in retirement. He made many speeches, walked along a great wall, and worked in an aviation museum. It is still a mystery who the actress was. Friends who knew him at the museum said a few who asked were fired. There are a few actresses I suspect, but I cannot prove. Does anyone know?

They want everyone to think it is canceled. It won't be the same as before. A much smaller, much more focused version is happening though in the woods of Northern California. In the second week of August, immediately proceeding the two national conventions, about 50 of the group will get together. They will still have their rituals. They are still bringing in "sex workers." They like to pretend the people brought in are working because they want to and not forced. Apparently there is also business to discuss. It is a lot easier to decide on a policy/policies with such smaller numbers and a group, who will then force everything on those who were not invited and so on down the line. Because it is such a small number, they are flying in everything they need food and security wise, rather than hiring any locals. The idea was no one would notice anything and by the time they did, the gathering would conclude.
The thing is though, this time they reached out to some people who have not been included before and not official members. They did not have to go through the years long vetting process. Someone from that group of five new people talked. They didn't know they were not allowed. I don't know all of the five names, but I do know two so far. One is a former A+ list politician who once got really really close to being A++ list. Another is the mogul who always seems to have his hands in everything. I'm sure he will be thrilled with the entertainment for the weekend.

A freedom of information request proves something alleged in a book written a couple of decades ago. This book used to be hard to find but can now be found online.
The information pertains to the whereabouts of this foreign A++ lister at his peak during this horrendous event that we are almost at the anniversary for. He was in that city with a team of specialists supposedly part of ongoing training in US weaponry although they cut their trip short and went back to their country when the event happened. Ironically, when he was an A++ lister several decades later, he was also a victim of fatal violence.
The book shows that while theories about who was responsible for this event always involves two groups, there was actually a third group that coordinated the whole thing which was this country. The three letter agency was completely compromised by this country's agents and sympathizers and the chief financier of this illegal empire had also financed the weapons buying of this country. He belonged to the same belief system. They hated the A++ lister because he would not agree to give them a very powerful deterrent. They were also involved in what happened to a close family member. The next A++ lister happily went along with what they wanted.
Hopefully also, one day someone will investigate the murder of this A++ lister of a cold northern country a couple of decades after that. The country mentioned above collaborated with another country that was at the time a pariah state in his murder.
