Today's Blind Items - Suicide Or Accident?

This long deceased writer was the first from his country to win this prestigious prize.  Another writer has won it since. Despite this, he is hardly a household name even in his home country.  A new movie in the works may change that it as it is presenting another theory about his death.  The police classified his death as a suicide as he had recently been diagnosed with a debilitating condition that boxers and football players often get.  However, a lot of people, including his wife and family, thought his death was an accident.  There are three reasons for this 1.) The writer was very inebriated at the time of his death 2.) He was running a bath and could have accidently opened the wrong tap 3.) He never told anyone he had suicidal thoughts or wrote about it.  The country he is from often romanticizes suicide.  It is the accident theory the movie will be presenting.
