Today's Blind Items - Sidekicks - Part Four

Many decades ago, this rising star in this particular body he belonged to was being considered as sidekick for this wannabe A++ lister now deceased who had been in power for a long time and who was partly famous for a terrible personal sacrifice he had made.  The rising star was ultimately rejected.  This was due to the rumors that had always circled the rising star.  He had been married once when he was young for a short period but more recently he lived with one of his employees who was out of the closet and had been often seen in a local gay bar. The three consonant channel even did a story on rumors of the rising star's sexuality. Immediately after being rejected, the rising start got married again and had children.  He was again considered by an A++ lister but was again rejected.  After that, the rising star became an A lister himself .  First with a TV show then as an A lister in his particular part of the country and then he even tried to be an A++ lister himself.  The gay rumors never came up again.  Privately, he told friends that gay conversion therapy helped his career.  That he owes his success to this.
