Four For Friday - Sidekicks - Part Three

This A Lister (#1) in his local area was vetted but not chosen by the recently failed A++ lister (#2) to be her sidekick.  He had a romanticized profession (#3) before becoming an A Lister and his wife (#4) who is also a public figure was the victim of a traumatic event but the failed A++ lister’s team was able to get into his sealed divorce records and found that the A lister had been accused by his first wife of abuse including punching her in the face.  They also filed restraining orders against each other.  Also bad was the fact that the company the A lister had started was with investment from this adversarial nation (#5) and both he and his wife are still receiving payments from this nation.
