Today's Blind Items - Made For TV
Back in the day there was this network made for television movie that centered around some murders. It was filmed in the middle of nowhere. As part of the film, some of the crew were tasked to dig some holes that would be used to bury "bodies." So, they got started and the going was tough. It was almost impossible with the tools they had. Then, one of the crew found an area that looked to be easier to dig through, so a couple of guys went to work on it. Within about 20 minutes, they found two dead bodies that looked like they had been dumped as part of a mob hit. I'm not sure how they could tell from some half decomposed bodies, but that was the story. The writer and director then figured out a way to use those bodies and filmed some scenes over the course of a couple of days BEFORE they called law enforcement to report the bodies.
