When this movie was released many decades ago, there was a sex scene that everyone was talking about even much more than the plot of the movie which is now considered a classic, but it took a long time to get that designation. One of the actors in the movie recently passed. It has always been believed that the very controversial sex scene was the actor (permanent A list) and his actress co-star (permanent A list multiple Oscar winner/nominee) was them having actual sex. Our actor, despite many people witnessing the scene always disputed it. He did so because the actress was involved with another permanent A list actor and didn't want her to have to face that. The actress has never really discussed whether the sex was real or not. With the death of the actor, everyone is hoping she will finally discuss the scene in detail.
