The jailed R&B singer with body odor wasn’t the first adult male to attack the late R&B singer. There was a DJ turned music industry figure who assaulted her when she was 12 and was there when she was introduced to the R&B singer by her uncle. They knew her parents wouldn’t call the police because both men were intimate with her mother and the affairs would embarrass the family. They would even joke that the best way to harm a child is to start an intimate relationship with their  guardians . Her so-called parents and Uncle only “freaked out” about the marriage because the court documents would be public record and confirm they had in fact sold their little girl to a musical child abuse ring.
