This manager on the 30 Under 30 list makes a lot of mistakes. One of the worst? Lack of due diligence when it comes to hiring people who work for his clients. (One of those people, I’ve written about before.) Most managers do background checks for anyone in close range of their clients, especially the cream of the crop. This manager? He’s too busy with his own stuff, like his own YouTube channel and the festival that happened this weekend, which leaves one of his clients wringing his hands and questioning what to do. Because of those employees’ actions, the manager's client is virtually shadow-banned from the industry.
What is even more interesting is the client is even more mysterious than the manager. The client has been seen in shadow and has many millions of followers on social media. The manager actually has twice as many followers as the client. Just how close are the manager and client? What has the manager covered up to protect the shadow?
