In this space, I have written about hotels in the metropolitan area of the nation's capitol which are nothing more than fronts for sex trafficking and you need to be on your guard to not get kidnapped. There are certain chains that are more problematic than others. One of the hotels in that chain was essentially already taken over by the government for COVID. Now, it is holding women and young children under a different set of circumstances. Despite the fact that dozens of new arrivals appear every day, the hotel never seems to run out of room. Perhaps it is because of all the new "maids" that leave every night to their new employer's home.
