The animal sounding former reality star has indeed sold a new show and now has cameras and crew trailing him wherever he goes. To make the story line seem credible, he is going back to places he already visited and asking the same questions again which would seem to be taking time away from actually doing what he was previously doing. The producers of this new show want this particular trek to go for at least two seasons which means it would then be in the best interest of the reality star to not find who he is looking for which seems counterproductive.
