Blind Item #8 - Reader Blind - 90's Limo Driver
The greeter escorted the aging tough guy actor with his much younger wife through the terminal at LAX. The actor had worked in the industry for decades, and was known for a violent series of B films that were increasingly more ridiculous with each sequel. People would approach the actor asking for autographs, but he would throw his hands up in the air and bellow, “I don’t have a pen!” That would scare them off. The trio continued walking through the terminal, when a male acquaintance of the actor’s wife spotted her and called out. She stopped to talk to the guy while the greeter and the actor waited. Several moments went by and the actor became unglued. “Hey!” he bellowed in his iconic action star voice. The wife looked at the actor and was furious. The male acquaintance skidaddled “Don’t ever do that again, _____! That was a friend from work,” the wife said. The actor pointed to the greeter, “The guy is waiting.” Don’t try to put it on him! You are rude and you know it,” the wife said. The actor rolled his eyes and they continued on, as his wife scolded him all the way to the car. The actor always was a man of few words.
