Blind Item #8 - Reader Blind

There is a move on to rename a facility in a foreign country due to comments made publicly by the person who it is named after.  These comments are in the form of personal beliefs and have nothing to do with why the building is named for her.

The most interesting proposal is to rename the facility after someone from the same country who did something completely different.  What this person did is not really known/popular in the United States but her record is one of the most amazing of all time. She went twenty years in a row without being bested in what she was doing and at one point triumphed 16 years in a row at the same place.  An irony - In her private life, she has definitely been involved in relationships the person whom the facility is named for would disapprove of.
