This will take some digging. These two directors are indie directors. Work as a pair. Their films are often very critically acclaimed but somewhat too weird for the mainstream, but there has been a recent announcement that the mainstream has come calling with a TV show. They aren't working with an actor they have worked with, but they have worked with an actor in the same universe. If you are a male, they are fine making small talk with you. If you are a female, you better be hot, or they will ignore you, if not outright berate you.
