Usually when you break away from this group, your life becomes hell. If you are a big name and you break away, you will get trashed and your life becomes hell. Whether it is people stalking you or calling at all hours of the day and night or leaking damaging stories, they do it all. They do this each and every time, without fail. Except once. There is an actor who was an A list television actor. After reaching that peak, things slowed down. He was still getting gigs, but not the big ones he was previously able to land. He had a ton of personal things going on and his exes had things to say and they didn't put him in a very nice light.
While all of that was going on, he discovered something about the group that made him want to get away. He told them he was leaving, but before he did, he let them in on a little secret. He had in his possession a document they never wanted to see the light of day. So, they made a deal. He doesn't talk about them and they don't talk about him. He also made a life for himself where he is in control of his living situation and protection. So far, it has gone really well and both sides have kept their agreement. Or have they?
Apparently the group knows they can't go to court or accuse him of stealing whatever it is because he would just release it. So, they have been doing their best to find a way to steal it. The thing is, they don't know where it is, so apparently have planted bugs in some of his friend's homes and in one of his places of business in hopes of learning the location. Three bugs were found when an electrician doing some rewiring of the place of business which led to the discovery of the others.
