Today's Blind Items - Birthday Party

Several years ago this A- list mostly movie actor held a birthday party for his foreign born celebrity significant other in her home country. Her friends were invited, and so were his. His friends included several young actors who are considered relatively famous in that country. This group of young actors is considered by some in that country to be a kind of “brat pack” of hip young actors - all very talented, performing in interesting indie films, achieving relative success in the US, etc. But they are no longer a group. Or at least three of them refuse to speak to one of them, after the birthday party.

Things were going normally. A standard birthday party and everyone was drinking heavily and enjoying themselves. At some point late in the night, after a few people have tapped out, people notice this foreign born A- list mostly movie actor who is not one, but two comic universes. He has just disappeared. It’s not like him to pass out this early. A couple of people go across the road to the AirBnb, looking for him. There, they find him raping an unconscious woman. She was a friend of the birthday girl, and she had passed out after drinking too much. Our first actor tore the rapist off the victim, pinned him against a wall, and started screaming in his face. 

Apparently in the country it is an open secret, but no one wants to do anything about it, so they pretend like it never happened.
