Blind Item #3 - Reader Blind - Kindness

There is an annual event in Tinseltown that is held to raise awareness of and money for the treatment of this condition of the immune system.  Sadly,  the next time this event is held it will be without this prior participant a recently deceased very funny beloved comic actor who was associated with a type of acting that lends itself well to comedy. He was in many films and TV shows over a long career. Two that stand out were this series of films with the same director and loose cast of fellow actors and a cult TV show that ran many decades ago.

This actor had a close family member with this condition and the last couple of decades was very involved with a foundation established for the fight against it. He donated a lot of his time (as well as money) towards this end.  He was very charitable in general and was involved in a lot of other worthwhile causes.
