There is an actress who is still alive but hasn't acted in many decades. When she was acting, she was A- list in her corner of the acting world. She had a very public discussion about how she got, and kept her role by sleeping with her boss. In her world, that is what you did because it was what she had been doing since she was a teenager. There is a long dead permanent A+ lister who used to be on television several times each year with celebrations or tributes. Each of those featured celebrities who ranged from A list to D list. It was a cavalcade of stars. Lesser known were all the supporting acts like dancers and singers. Our A+ lister always wanted teens for those roles. Happy teens he used to say.
