  7. We had a prom in a club, people dressed normally and no one really went with dates unless they were already in a couple. it was more everyone hanging out together.

  9. Don't remember her name. She was younger and I needed a date. Had a nice time but no chemistry between us.

  10. Prom was '78. I went with my high school sweetheart who I then married. Divorced but have kids and grandkids, and have always remained close friends.

  16. Went to the prom three times, have not seen either of the first two since high school - one became a priest. The 3rd one was a good friend but we lost touch after about age 20.

  19. A friend of my brother's. My brother occasionally was in contact with him and his friend had gotten a painful disease. One day he couldn't take the pain anymore and went up in the mountains and shot himself. A real shame cause he was a really nice (and cute) guy.

  20. No was not asked and felt forgotten. I went out that night to a church function though with one of my girlfriends and was hit on by some 15 year old boys I guess that made up for it

  21. Went to Prom with a family friend- he ended up skipping out on me to spend the entire evening with the daughter of my dad's best friend (can't make this stuff up.) I can laugh about it now- I don't keep in touch with him, but our parents keep up with one another. Last I heard he was a massage therapist, broke, but got a new girlfriend. More power to the guy.
