A Miss Piggy/Muppet Show marathon would actually make me quite happy!
I finally watched the pilot of Stumptown, and enjoyed it. I will catch up on that.I also havent watched the third season of Stranger Things. I'm always behind on shows.
I recently binge watched Outlander per my daughter’s recommendation. I started to get really annoyed by Clare because she was becoming such a pain in the ass to her husband causing unnecessary bullshit by 20th century standards. Kind of like Fat Markle and her I’m not really a colored girl, yet I can fake it, but Imma save the world a couple of million at a time. It also jumped the shark once or twice and I am not really into bodice rippers. I’ll stick with it until the daughter annoys the shit out of me and I give up totally. She’s getting there.
I really dont get the love for Schitts creek. a bunch of one noters. altho the man under the seats and Eugene levy are eminently watchable. Catherine Ohara's character wore me out. idk, maybe it was just too freaking gay for me. this isnt streaming, but Homeland has been really good this season imo.
Honestly, the SO and I already binged all the shows we really like. We'd need to start rewatching stuff. Been watching youtube and catching up on games. Highly recommend bingeing The Outsider on HBO, it renewed my faith in Stephen King. Although that one episode a week formula was a buzzkill the season is done now.
Really? I’ve been a lifelong SK fan and such a morbid kid, I read all this books (OK almost all) by 9th grade. The Outsider makes me hate him as it’s such as mishmash of all his past works. Ancient evil spider monster that rapes and eats kids.... why is it such a reoccurring theme? Like he’s really starting to ping my pizzagate conspiracy meter.
I don't do binge watches. I sit down every evening with my PVR (DVR to you Americans, apparently) and whatever's on it from the day, I watch. If there's nothing, well, Big Bang Theory is always on somewhere.
I don't know....I'm not into a lot of shows/movies right now. I don't like all the violence and shouting in most of them. I want a good plot and not screeching tires. I've been watching old favorites, like The History Boys, lately. I think I'm going to pretty much stream documentaries, because I am so disappointed in what is on offer on Netflix. And read.

All the coronavirus pandemonium has been getting on my nerves, so I've been calming down by watching Call The Midwife. Go ahead, make fun of me.
ReplyDeleteLove that show!

ReplyDeleteNo shame on Call The Midwife. We moved to London from NJ in 1962 and I love watching this show. I adored living in England.

+1 Robyn, Love both those shows.
ReplyDeletePeppa Pig, although I’m not sure that three 5 minute episodes could be classified as binge watching.
ReplyDeleteFinished Sneaky Pete, which I really liked. Currently on season 2 of Boardwalk empire (which I'm liking quite a bit).

ReplyDeleteGet Shorty (season 1 is on Netflix). Use a week trial on Epix to watch seasons 2 & 3.

ReplyDeleteI don’t see any shows here that make me want to binge. What’s the matter Hollywood, have you all been locked up? In your bunkers?
