That very recent Oscar nominated/winning director that has been in this space frequently as of late, continues to cheat on his wife with a former employee.

ReplyDeleteHe basically ghosted his wife and 2 daughters for a year while filming Thor so it'll be interesting to see if anyone starts shaking that tree to find out what he was getting into during that time...

ReplyDeleteScarJo is in the Hamptons with Colin Jost, there was a picture of them in today's NY Post. So, not her.
ReplyDeleteHis wife gave an interview last year about how she was sexually abused as a child, and Taika taught her to trust again. She truly seemed to love him.

ReplyDeleteHis real name is Taika David Cohen. His father’s last name is Waititi, he’s used both names interchangeably to avoid racism and typecasting. Acting like he’s made up a Maori name is kinda racist....
And he looks Maori. Cohen is common in Indonesia also.
DeleteTaika Waititi's half Maori, half Anglo-Celtic. He does have distant Jewish heritage but is not half as he pretends. He always went by Cohen until he started applying for grants to make short films. NZ pours money at Maori artists.
ReplyDeleteTaika grew up upper middle class in a nice suburb of Wellington with his doting school teacher mother. He had a privileged childhood which makes his tales of growing up poor rather amusing.
