Blind Items Revealed #4

March 6, 2020

As I said well over a year ago, no one will want to go see this former A+ list singer in concert using trickery. It is going to be a financial disaster, but the people running the show are super greedy.

Whitney Houston hologram tour

  1. Plus, covid-19 dashes any current dreams of raking in bucks for any concerts.

  3. Covid-19 aside. A hologram tour is just really weird and creepy. Especially when the person is dead.

  11. I don't think people will be as repulsed by a hologram show as Enty seems to think they will. They'll probably make bank once this virus tires itself out.

  12. @Indie! Sounds like a blast! I love getting together with high school friends. They know everything about me—the good and the bad. Sometimes they tease me mercilessly! Peeing in the pool definitely eliminates the need for TP, so there’s that! 😆

  15. I find the hologram performances of dead stars equally creepy and greedy, likewise when they are used in advertising. It is making the dead people do something they may not have agreed to if they were alive. It’s the epitome of flogging a dead horse for the money.

  16. Hologram concerts won’t be a fad for long.

  17. Pat Houston is the sole executor of Whitney's estate. The beneficiaries are Cissy and her two brothers, Gary and Michael who are never heard of to protest about anything.

  18. I saw the commercial for Whitney's show, what a cluster f-k. I imagine her rising up from grave and screaming, "BOBBBBYYYYYY, what the fuck did you do??! It MIGHT be one thing if the estate had NO money and they had to support Bobby Kristina if she were a child but the estate should have plenty of money and Kristina unfortunately, is dead. It's so obviously pure unadultrated greed from Whitney's Mum and Sister in law. Can you imagine your Mum selling you out like this? It's bad enough Whitney had to stay in the closet her entire life to appease her family.
I don't know how a "fan" could be comfortable with that show but in my experience most people are not very insightful. All these shows are going to fail now due to the virus, I live outside Manhattan and they closed the theaters last week.

  19. Saw Whitney live in '91 in Oakland. Truth be told---she was NOT great in person. She had the beginning of that crack pouch stomach, didnt move much and sounded mediocore---definately a studio musician. But Ill pull the card of "I saw a legend" when it suits me, but with honesty.
