Blind Items Revealed #2

February 20, 2020

Speaking of working at a cut rate price, this foreign born former A+ list mostly movie actor from multiple franchises is getting about a tenth of what he got before his scandal to star in a movie. The studio thinks people have forgotten. I think they will remind the public every chance they get once the movie is being readied for release.

Liam Neeson

  1. His scandal was such a blip on the radar I think Liam will be fine.

  5. That seems a bit counterintuitive for the studio, but okay.

  6. Are they talking about "The Marksman"? He's playing a rancher that defends a Mexican boy running from a cartel. I wonder if there's a racist element to his character, and if that's what the blind means, that the movie will remind people of Neeson's ill-advised admission.

  7. @Do Tell, Latinos tend to be a little more tolerant, hey they forgave Charles Bronson for pretending to be Latino.

  9. The guy admited to something he wanted to do a long time ago and said he was wrong about it, he didn't even need to say it he did it to point out his personal experience with racial prejudice and highlight it. It's not like he went all Micheal Richards on someone...

  10. +1 Uber. He got pissed that his friend was raped and angrily walked around town, doing nothing. Usually this is called walking it off and is considered therapeutic, but for Liam it's considered a hate crime.

  11. Liam is a good actor, and his statement was taken out of context. Hardly a huge scandal. He admitted he felt an irrational anger; he didn’t act on it was the point, as was him knowing it was not rational. Ridiculous.

  12. He'll be fine. He has a very particular set of skills.

  13. Liam admits that falling into racism is easy and talked about it being wrong. Did he violate some code that says you can't talk about racist feelings and how they are there and you have to be vigilant of your behaviors, reactions and thought processes? I imagine we'd all be gobsmacked to hear other people's thoughts.

Liam will be fine. Then he can go to the studio on the next picture and give them a tough time.
