This very recently dismissed host had no choice but to exit. The pile-on was just starting and this time the sealed sexual harassment settlements were not going to stay sealed. ReplyDeleteSo if the NDAs are going to be worthless, so are the checks to women that have brought cases to attorneys who can no longer settle cases and now have to take cases to court. Yes it will be a victory for 'metoo" but most attorneys make money on settlements not long drawn out cases. Their clients will be screwed twice because most contingency cases are a 3rd of the money and court expenses which in a long trial can be very expensive and drive that 3rd to 2/3rds quite easliy.
