The alliterate actress who is an Oscar winner/nominee and probably A/A- list wants to reprise one of her most famous roles. The sticking point will be the same thing that has plagued the situation since day one of the negotiations from the first film so many years ago. She wants money, and a lot of it should the holding company start licensing the image or putting a look-a-like in their many parks. It is the reason you never see the character, despite its popularity.
Any Adams

ReplyDeleteI loved Enchanted! I actually have wondered why that movie wasnt represented more, given its success and charm. She was perfect in that role, I hope they get something worked out, though it's been many years now!
ReplyDeleteI'm confused by This Blind Item.
ReplyDeleteIs Enty trying to say that Amy Adams used a Body Double throughout the whole Filming of Enchanted ?
If so then I could see why Disney has been hesitant to both Feature The Character in their Theme Parks along with doing a Sequel ( Which according to Wikipedia has been in the works now for a good decade )
But what I don't understand though is why Amy felt the need to use a Body Double throughout the entire shoot.
I mean was it pure laziness or was it just Her being a Diva ?
If it’s Amy Adams, then it makes sense why Giselle briefly appeared in the parks following the first movie (and only as part of a “pre-parade”, not actually meeting people) and then disappeared only after a couple of months or so.
ReplyDelete@Gold - I think he means that there arent "actors" playing the character in disney parks like they have with the various other characters.
ReplyDeletei hope they give her what she wants. if disney is gonna make a billion dollars in merchandising her likeness then she definitely deserves a fair cut. she gave an exceptional performance in that role.
ReplyDeleteI wonder why they pay Johnny Depp for his Jack Sparrow, but wouldn’t pay Amy for hers?
