At lunch yesterday at a non Japanese restaurant that used to serve lunch in bento boxes. A permanent A list "singer."
Singer - I don't see the bento box
Waiter - We don't have that any longer
Singer - Can you show me where the bento box is
Waiter - We stopped that option some time ago
Singer - What is in the bento box again?
Waiter - What would you like in it?
They brought her food in a bento box.

ReplyDeletewhat's a bento box?
ReplyDeleteLunch box...
DeleteJapanese moms make simple food beautiful by creative decorations!
Plz Google, you won't regret!!!
What do you want in the bento box?
ReplyDeleteChicken nuggets!
Poor baby, but I do love a good bento.
ReplyDeleteShe though Japan was in Africa years ago, she is dumb as a stick.
ReplyDeleteJeff its typically a Japanese meal. It's in a rectangle tray separated into sections, usually five, you get your order in one, rice in another, a sushi roll in one and varied in the other two depending on the restauranr. My bento box comes with a soup and salad and all for less than $10. Not huge portions but good enough for lunch.
ReplyDeleteOmg J lol.

ReplyDeleteSounds like my kids when they aren't listening. Tunnel vision.
ReplyDeleteSometimes when I'm feeling exotic I pack my lunch for work in a bento.
ReplyDeleteThe sad side of the daily office worker (though I do have my own office)
You have your own office?!
DeleteJealous...
What are you complaining about....
Awww. This is sad.
ReplyDeleteI love bento boxes. And I’ve been known to do the same thing in restaurants when they take something off the menu that I like. (In places that I frequent.) ‘But what about the fettuccine with mushrooms? I don’t see that on the menu.’ ‘Yes. We discontinued that.’ ‘But, why? That was the best pasta on the menu. K (my BFF who is friends with the owner) & I always ordered it.’ They’ll usually find a way to accommodate me because they know me. I give Britney 👍 on this one. She got what she wanted, didn’t she?
ReplyDeleteQuality customer service saves the day!😍

ReplyDeleteIf the blind had said celeb instead of female singer I'd have guessed Joe Biden.
ReplyDeleteNo, it's not Joe Biden unless he threatens the server with a jabbing, shaking finger.
ReplyDelete👍👍
DeleteThe last time she was allowed out, they had them. So I give her a pass, and yes,she got what she wanted. And now I want one.
ReplyDeleteThat's so sad. (Not you wanting a bento box, but her being so controlled)
Delete"Look I either get my bento box or your car gets a good umbrella-ering?"
ReplyDeleteWhy so sad here....she ended up with a bento box. Sly like a fox.
ReplyDeleteMaybe she's so controlled that she's not allowed to eat foods that are touching, so she needs the box to separate them.
ReplyDeleteSo they did bring her the damn bento box. Can I safely assume there was a Japanese restaurant nearby.
ReplyDelete"I don't understand ... What is the meaning of this strange word, this 'no'?"
ReplyDeleteSpeak "Bento Box" three times, and it shall appear...

Brit brit is a $100million bag lady
ReplyDeleteHi there,
ReplyDeleteCan someone provide me with some history about Brit. Is she crazy and is subsequently on medication which also makes her a bit crazy/erratic/slow?
Is this the basic situation or is there anything else?
