Blind Items Revealed #3

January 27, 2020

Once again the Academy decided to pretend the three named ingenue didn't exist in favor of the artist who was more willing to go along with the narrative the record industry wanted. What that artist doesn't know is that she is going to be one and done much like the foreign born one named singer that came before her that everyone thought was the second coming at the time a few years ago.

Lana Del Rey/Billie Eilish/Lorde

  1. I can't listen to Lana's music anymore without thinking of that love song she wrote for Harvey. She was drinking the koolaid and probably whatever else he fed her.

  2. You're completely certain of this Entern? Much like all the flop movies you predict that aren't flops and the future career prospects of people like Emilia Clarke? Pop singers don't have long shelf lives but Billie might be able to pull off another album.

  3. Well, to be fair, Billie seems like a one trick pony. If she changes things up for her next album, she might do great.

    1. She took the oath. When the baddies in Hollywood go, she's going with them

Billie may be able to pull off one more album based on her momentum, but I can't see much more than that.
I hope poor Lourde at least made a lot of money so she and her friends back in NZ or wherever she was from can be Royals now lol.
At least that was a great song and she had one of two more. Billie is just blabbering like a toddler playing with her Dad's mixing app.

  5. Go do some research. Gen Z loves Billie Eilish, she has great videos, she's practically a youtube celeb and could stop singing and still be famous.

    2. None of which means anything of substance. Youtube celeb? Dime a dozen. Famous for doing nothing? Even bigger numbers. All carbuncles on the ass of humanity.

  8. I like LDR, but you are correct @AlleyKat, it can put you in a mood!!!

  9. Again, how is she an "ingenue!?!" She's 34 with two studio albums.

  10. LDR's face bothers me.

    1. Maybe because one instinctively knows it was completely surgically reworked. It's not really her face

  11. LDR has hipster critic cred and has been around long enough to sustain a career. Billie is talented but has crash and burn written all over her. Lorde's 2nd album sucked, but then plenty of artist's who hit big have those too. If her 3rd record sucks as well though...hello dumpster.

  12. @longtime, LDR had Weinstein's c*ck and influence before, but no longer. How long will her career survive now? What other pig will she have to climb on top of to stay famous now?

  13. Billie will be fine. She has a rock-solid family around here. She's also incredibly talented. She wrote Ocean Eyes when she was 13.

Gen Z loves Billie Eilish. They also love snorting gummy worm things up their noses and posting it on TikTok. I'm aware of who she is and what she sounds like. Maybe I was too harsh. She doesn't sound like a toddler on a mixing app...maybe a 6 year old.
No worries. She's already hinting that she's gonna start showing her 18 year old body so she's good for one more album and round on the fame merry-go-round.

  15. The Eyelash girl isn't my cup of tea, but she seems like the type that will be around a while.

  16. I hadn't heard Billie Eilish until I saw a Beats commercial a few days ago. She is AWFUL. GRATING all over my poor eardrums.

  18. Am I the only one who loathes all three of these “singers”? Anybody else out there?

  19. @CJ, It's crickets. Most people liked Lorde, she just ran out of gas.

  20. Billie Ellish may go on to have more success but that doesn't mean they will allow her to win more Grammys. And considering the way the industry has ended the careers of other young women for no reason at all, they could really cancel her if they wanted to.

  21. @ZZZ, Yeah I liked Lorde too. Billie does have a few songs I like, but mostly I was grateful to hear a different kind of sound for a change.

@Unknown, The future belongs to the youth, not the adults or older generations. Younger people today DGAF about tv or the radio, they're constantly watching youtube instead.

  22. lorde's second album was successful (#1 on the charts, plus "green light" was a hit single, certified platinum in the US & other countries etc) and she has a new record coming out at some point this year (i think it was supposed to come out last year but it got delayed because her cat died?). bit early to write her off as some one hit wonder who disappeared after one hit

  24. I think Billie will be popular for a while.

I hope she proves them wrong.

  25. I read an article somewhere quoting LDR re the "hundreds" of cocks she worked her way through to advance in the biz.
