At a different early Oscar event, handlers and organizers were under strict instructions to make sure the A list everything in her mind didn't come near the permanent A list mostly movie actor. The actress would definitely have said something about her best friend, which would have been brilliant.

ReplyDelete@sdauntie is clearly states the permanent A lister involved. Ribisi does't fit although the 'mostly' is throwing me a bit. I don't think handlers would be that alerted to Ribisi/JLo though, would they? And while I love Ribisi's work I don't know if he would ever by any stretch be a permanent A lister.

ReplyDeleteJohn Travolta is not seen the same way as TC and I suspect he may be something of a sympathetic character (outside his #metoo masseuses), he is not in the same kind of exalted leadership position as TC and does not seem to carry the same level of self-importance, just my opinion, having read a lot of Scio comments.
