Never knew Kick-Ass liked them that much older. Oh fun they met when he was 18 and she was directing him on Nowhere Boy, what a cougar.

ReplyDeleteThere were blinds from Enty that suggested Sam allows Aaron to bang others so he wouldn't leave her. I guess it didn't work. This was weird. She once had authority over him. They met while she directed him in his first film roll, I think. I know many male directors have done the same, and they are creepy as well, especially if there is a huge age disparity.

ReplyDeleteI don't usually lust after youth, but he is gorgeous. I'd be sad too, if I was Sam and he was on his way out. But at least you had him for quite a while!

ReplyDelete@texasrose - I always wonder about actors that date directors that they've worked for. Like is the attraction actually romantic chemistry or is it more of the respect and command the Director has that is the appeal. Had Sam been more successful, would Aaron still want to leave?

Their relationship & the way it began always creeped me out. Mostly creeped out @ STJ - even if she let him sleep around at a certain point that would not be enough & he’d want out, so I suspect that time has arrived or is approaching. 23 year difference also gets even more intense w/age....he will be 56 when she is 80. He’d be her live-in caretaker eventually bc of the age difference. I think the relationship would have gotten more scrutiny if she wasn’t a woman
JT0130- who knows?? Close bonds probably get made when working together. I'm sure a broad spectrum from stereotypical couch casting (most cynical) to true love and attraction (most romantic) and everywhere in between. It's a business where knowing the right person probably trumps all except the most talented.
ReplyDelete@Texasrose -- Yeah, well said. STJ is probably more popular as a director in the UK than over here is the states. When Aaron was 18, he must of thought he was set for life when they met and eventually married. Aaron's star power in the states has steadily risen but not STJ's. He is getting more handsome as time goes by. He must want to date openly instead of keeping everything on the DL. Probably wants to father children with multiple women like Jude Law. I would bang if he wanted it from me. LOL. When the divorce happens, I hope it is scandal free to spare the children.
