  8. I’m afraid of heights too but I served in the military!

Any outdoor work due to severe allergies. Nothing related to food, chemicals or fragrances for the same reasons.

Sex work, but let me tell you. You all know I am training for Christian ministry and student loans are astronomical. I don’t look down on sex workers. I trust and believe God will continue to make a way for me to pay my debts or have someone else pay them.

Maybe Elizabeth Warren will get in the White House or get a cabinet position so she can do something about student loans. It’s worse than the 2008 housing crisis.

  23. Sex work, nudity in front of a camera doing lewd scenes. I don't want to be a bad example of moral values. I have plans to be with G-d the Father in heaven, to see Him face to face at true heaven where His throne at.

  24. Dentist. That has to be disgusting.

  25. When you see him in heaven, ask why he created all these nasty pediatric cancers.

    Kind of a dick move.

    1. @J My answer is based on the Judeo-Christian perspective. I pray you respectfully understand.

God did not create the cancer. God told Adam & Eve they would begin to die if they ate of the Tree of Knowledge of a Good and Evil.

The Serpent spoke the truth when it said they would know good and evil. Had Adam & Eve put thought to skull they would have noticed they would not know good FROM evil. Now you know why Jesus said, “Forgive them Father, for they know not what they do.”

Going back to dying, disease is part of the death and dying process. Ever use a copy machine? Do you use the original to make copies or do you make copies with the copies? Using copies to make copies magnifies errors. Hopefully this will help you understand that this is one way genetic disorders come about.

Long story short, we are paying for someone else’s mistakes, but someone took our place so we wouldn’t have to be put to eternal death.

  31. An actor in Hollyweird! No amount of money would be worth selling my soul to those gross devil pigs.

  32. Underwater welder or anything like that. You can nope your way out of other jobs but that one requires that you just sit there decompressing at various depths before you can get away.

  33. Pro chef. I love to cook but I could never handle the pressure.

  34. I could never work in a prison. I did a semester practicum in Child Protective Services, in 1986. My supervisor had 600 cases and she was supposed to speak with the people every month. She could hardly make visits to the worst of the homes, so I was sent to some of them. Never again. There are never enough social workers to be able to ensure child safety, and far too many abusers who think what they do is ok. I'm really glad that I didn't go to work in those places. My friends who did, within two years had experienced too much secondary trauma. Their eyes were so glassy that it made me wonder how they would be at retirement age. It's not worth it.

  35. Work in a factory farm. Yeah yeah they provide all our meat, but they seem like concentration camps for animals. I'd probably try to set all the animals free and then burn that motherf*cker to the ground.

Hi! I enjoy reading your comments but I still have trouble deciphering when you are joking & when you are serious.

      These are my thoughts:

God is love. Love is meant to be shared. That is why we were created. To receive and to share God’s love.

  38. I could clean up blood and guts, but not vomit. That's my Kryptonite.

    ReplyDelete
  39. @T.W., I'm cool with god, just not convinced any of the religions have it right. But god being love is a pretty nice one, hope you're right. Like we're all flowers receiving the rays of god's affection.

You've got to admit though, seems like he's got a sense of humor. ;)

God is definitely love. When you die and go “upstairs” you go home to Love. A warm everlasting love.

I’m Christian but I will agree that no “religion” is 100 percent correct. Jesus didn’t come to start or promote religion. He came to reconcile humanity’s relationship with God. That is all. If we operate on hate then God is not in us.

I forgot to say I agree with you, God does have a sense of humor. It is written: “laughter doeth [does] good like a medicine.”

My father was a pastor and missionary. I have been to Haiti and seen first hand some of the atrocities that exist on this planet, which most Westerners never have to see.

Not sure why you so willingly believe. If it shows up in a leather book, written by King James' friends, does that make it factual?

I can assure you that the Desert Religions are for the most part, Fiction. Patriarchal nonsense, written to keep the peasants in line.

When my daughter disappeared --my only child-- I realized that the Bible is lies.

No loving God would let children suffer thru what has been happening on this planet.
    Period.

First off, I’m sorry you have suffered.

Thank you for sharing your opinion about the Bible and desert religions being a book of lies.

It’s not my job to convert you or change your mind. Only you can decide what you do and do not believe. You will be held accountable for this but not by me.

I pray you receive the emotional and spiritual healing you need.

    1. Erik! 👻 I promise we aren't scary people - it is a great profession, but you have to have IT in you to do the job and the emotional strength to help a family say goodbye. (Most fd's believe God wired us for this profession.)

  42. @Daryl, Sorry for your loss. Maybe the price of free will is god not intervening. Maybe when we die we wake up somewhere better and all of the bad things are like a bad dream quickly forgotten.

  43. Killing babies isn't a job, unless you're an abortionist. Being an abortionist is just out for anyone with a conscience.

So what job could I not do?

Probably Enty's. Enty must have to deal with more narcissists on a weekly basis than most of us meet in a lifetime. Enty: Doing the job normal people run from.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Entys job would be amazing. Make stuff up and not be held accountable at all, because DISCLAIMER... and sprinkle in the truth here and there, just enough to feel a sense of moral superiority that you're doing THE LORDS WORK.. take in a ton of money from people who subscribe to his podcast..
    Sounds like a great gig

  45. T.W., respectfully, existence is much greater than a copy machine. I don't think your analogy works, for many reasons I won't get into now.

  50. I can't tell you how much it angers me, as an atheist & as a person who's witnessed truly horrific things, to see the passive aggressive Christian response to DarylsBigFan instead of the human one.

I'm sorry your only daughter disappeared. That's a horror I can't even begin to fathom. I hope one day you can find some measure of peace.

So I guess I'm going with never being able to work as a Christian minister. I just don't think I like kids enough, you know?

    ReplyDelete
  51. Christians are always easy targets for atheists. TW's response was very good.
I was never taught about people who didn't believe in god, and when I first realized they exist - I was afraid of them, then wondered what kind of life they had which didn't include a god, then realized (for most)it is an intellectual exercise of proof. Boring.

The only honest claim is to be an agnostic. 'Lord, I believe. Help me with my disbelief.'

    ReplyDelete
  52. DarylsBigFan, I'm sorry for your loss. Didn't you also lose your brother in military service?

Your father also had a radio show, as I recall. Did he broadcast from the Caribbean? Such an interesting life.

and King James was only a translation of the bible. Please find comfort where you can.
