It is fairly rare that I use the big blind of the day to talk about something from this country on the opposite side of the world, but it is just too interesting to not discuss. Plus, it will make you work a little bit to get the answers. With all the digging I have been doing on the B+ list actress from that country, a lead told me to look into a producer that our actress has been known to sleep with, not so much for parts, but also for favors from others who can then do something for her. They have also done some producing together. This is one of her main benefactors. Right now he is embroiled in a scandal for agreeing to pay stars their asking rate and then, after they have signed, cut their salaries as much as half. If the star tries to back out he calls them greedy. Meanwhile, he is funneling the money he is saving into other schemes, some of which he has done with the actress. The blind though is not really about all of that, but instead, the killing of his wife so he could sleep with as many actresses as he wanted without scandal. He made sure he had an airtight alibi, but he also knew her habits and knew she would eventually take the pill that killed her. The pill which was a replacement for one of the many she took each day.

Fan was later presumed missing due to her last public appearance occurring on 1 July 2018 and her lack of activity on social media after 23 July. She broke the silence on 3 October 2018 by apologizing to the public for tax evasion after the Chinese authorities ordered her and her companies to pay about CN¥883 million (US$127.4 million) in taxes and penalties to avoid criminal prosecution.[113][114]

ReplyDeleteNah. This is boney Kapoor and priyanka Chopra. Sridevi's death was always a mystery. He came back a day earlier and then went again to Dubai to surprise her and then she died. Sridevi is the one with money who was basically paying everything in their and their kids life. I am bummed because I freelanced with her on her movie Mom and she was so genuine and approachable and made me feel like home in a diff country.

ReplyDelete@Notagoodscreenname Apparently whatever money there was, was hers. Maybe he was scared she would leave him if she found out he was cheating? I wonder how much she was insured for? Indian Film producers are known to get funding from mafia sources, and Boney had a string of movies that failed and was thought to be in debt. She had a terrible life from what I read, but was pretty much the only acknowledged female 'superstar' in that country - was very well liked all around. Her poor, poor kids though!

Vanity Fair had a very interesting article about Fan, the HUGE salaries Asian stars receive, tax evasion, her disappearance and charges of tax evasion. The Chinese government put her under house arrest IIRC. I'm kinda high so my memory sucks-read the article! I read it a while ago but It's very good!
