This former A- list mostly movie actress who walked away from it all when she started hooking up with the A+ lister makes it seem as if it is a voluntary thing she isn't acting any longer. It is voluntary in the sense she is paid to stay home with the kids and not work.
Eva Mendes/Ryan Gosling

So she's the nanny?
ReplyDeleteCathrine Zeta Jones?
DeletePaying nannies to raise your kids is sooooooo much better
ReplyDeleteI would imagine having a clothing line rather than months' long film shoots might be preferable to a lot of mothers with young children.
ReplyDeleteAnother reveal for the same blind?
ReplyDeleteWell she did famously sleep with most leading men in her movies..so there’s that..
ReplyDeleteDon't see nuthin' wrong with that!
ReplyDeleteI'm okay with this. Not sure how much different than married stay at home parents, one works, the other stays home to raise the kids. I think I read somewhere that they don't live together, so she does need some money to live on, house, kids' education, clothing, etc. and to live in California is expensive. I think they figured out how to do this amicably without any need for courts to intervene. Are they married to each other? I was a stay at home mom and wouldn't trade those years for anything. Kudos to them for doing what works for them.
ReplyDeletewhat's the problem? she's getting paid for her WORK. what she does is WORK. sounds right to me.
ReplyDeleteI'd take that deal all day long.
ReplyDeleteThe arrangement these two make to make their family work is their own business.
ReplyDeleteI like my job, but if someone offered me money to stay home instead, hell yeah, I’d take that deal!
ReplyDeleteI'm surprised no one's called her fat.
ReplyDeleteThe whole "women's lib" movement wasn't to ensure that all women worked/had careers. It was to give them the option ability to do so. There's no shame in being a SAHM just as there's no shame in working.
ReplyDeleteGreat example to set for your daughters, Eva. At least you can cut the checks for therapy later on, right? But you can’t take away the daddy issues they are getting by you putting up with this & normalizing it.
ReplyDeleteStop being a doormat and start loving your children by leaving and showing them not to just take it, because right now you’re showing them that’s the norm.
Yeah Eva! Break up your family over this, totally! It’s way better to be “free” and dating random men that you bring home around your vulnerable children, than it is to compromise and form a lasting relationship with the father of your children! Children of divorced parents NEVER have daddy issues, it’s way better to teach your kids that if someone doesn’t do what you want, you get rid of them. That doesn’t lead to therapy at all.
ReplyDeleteJust because there are women that don’t buy the feminist BS, doesn’t make them wrong or their choices bad or damaging. But that’s the “sisterhood” for you. If they can’t be happy, they’ll be damned if any other woman will!
🙄😆🙄
@judithannegg ... you were a fulltime Mom. I have never known a fulltime Mom who stayed at home, certainly not in the same the way "working mothers" are chained to their desks.
ReplyDeleteShe was ho'ing a bit too much. She's in a better place. This is a good thing in a way but also unfair. Gosling is a ho too. If he can do it she should be able to do it too. Then again, if you're gonna ho why bother to get into relationships?
ReplyDeleteHope up. Is anyone gutted that Eva Mendez stopped making movies? I fucking am’nt.
ReplyDelete*hold up, damn
ReplyDeleteI'm disappointed that he hasn't married Eva. She is a beautiful person, great Mom and talented actress and designer. I wish Gosling would honor and appreciate her for the exemplary human being she is.
ReplyDeleteNothing wrong with bringing up your kids and monitoring them. Its when they get older, you really have to deep an eye out can't imagine working with two small kids. Kudos to anyone who does but not for me.
ReplyDeleteTwoDots she has left an immeasurable hole in the acting world.
ReplyDeleteToo small to measure, even under a microscope.
