Behind the scenes there was apparently a lot of drama about the owner of the house where the alliterate royal and her husband were staying. The general public doesn't know who owns it, but the family does and he has not been a friend of the country, so it was a shock the couple decided to stay there.

The woman who supposedly wanted to crawl under the table at the Prince Andrew interview, is accepting favors from Eptein-like Russian oligarch? Is EVERYTHING this woman does hypocritical?!? My favorite lately is how her net worth is an estimate of her total earnings without any deduction for a single living expense. Ever. She’s somehow worth $4m, bc, the money she earned was preserved forever in her portfolio, not a dollar ever spent on housing, food, clothes,, plastic surgery. trips, car, dogs, etc., etc.
ReplyDeleteSetting aside any motivating family conflicts, from the way I've observed commenters here and at the Daily Mail attack them, I can't say I blame them for tossing in the towel and giving a middle finger wave goodbye. It was obvious to me that those who turned against them for whatever reasons were dug in to the point that nothing they ever did could have changed minds, so why bother. I don't wish anyone ill, so I hope things work out for them.

ReplyDelete@jkayaya, I'm thinking they may choose Canada for their primary residence. Meghan lived in Toronto for 7 years so knows it well, and the absence of paparazzi, largely, makes it easier to get around relatively unnoticed.

A local NYC publication (Jan 12) identifies the man(not Russian) and his close ties to Bill Clinton & the Clinton Foundation as the owner. His resume is very impressive and he comes across as someone who really cares about the condition of the Earth and the people who are struggling everywhere.
