Blind Item #13

The one named permanent A++ list celebrity is coming up with all kinds of excuses to justify her bailing on a project. She wasn't troubled by those same issues in previous situations. I wonder if she knows the mogul is about to get hit with a string of accusations, so needs to be able to victim blame.

  1. Yawn, yet another made up blind item about Oprah. The Michael Jackson stans are going after her for supposedly attacking victims, even though the stans have no problem attacking Michael's victims! Love the hypocrisy

  4. She has to cover her butt from switching projects to the ex-royals. Gayle screwed up the bail and this came out afterwards.

  6. Oprah has been photographed many, many times cozying up to people like Harvey Weinstein. Why is it so hard to believe that some of her interests are at the very least, in conflict with "the right thing"?

  9. @J Oooh, I'm going to Malta in a few months. My father is from there.

  10. I looked up Meliticus, thinking it was similar to melitta, or honey-bee, in Greek. Turns out it means Maltese. I know someone who moved there two years ago and loves it. I'm always up for Mediterranean travel!

Hope you have a great time, Minnie!

  11. Although, from Wikipedia,

The origin of the name Malta is uncertain, and the modern-day variation is derived from the Maltese language. The most common etymology is that the word Malta is derived from the Greek word μέλι, meli, "honey".[30] The ancient Greeks called the island Μελίτη (Melitē) meaning "honey-sweet", possibly for Malta's unique production of honey; an endemic subspecies of bees live on the island.[31]

  12. I’m not sure how Malta how was brought in here(haven’t really read this whole thread) just know how to scroll past certain triggered morons; that said-One of the most interesting people I have ever met was from
Malta-and he had healing powers. I was just speaking of him while on the weekends holiday because I was where we met (at a Museum). Very intriguing culture and history.

  15. I agree, Guesser. I don't think Florence is Derek. Just silly, not toxic.

No - the honey bee thing was correct.

  17. No - it was something I thought of years ago on a gaming platform...when I was watching a lot of Hercules and Xena Warrior Princess - so "greek" name for honey...bee.
But the Malta stuff is interesting - never knew that.

In re the moderation...I have noticed when comments are removed - they tend to prune the whole convo - even if some comments are not "bad"

  18. Not sure what to make of Oprah. Sometimes she seems sincere and decent, other times dark, egocentric and self-serving. Hope she moves towards the light...

  19. Google David Geffen with Bryan Singer.
Then ask why Oprah repeatedly yachts in private trips with him- one of her closest friends
No wonder why she can’t do a documentary on reported predators. Look at her with Harvey
Those pictures of her with Weinstein and Rita Ora when she started out give you the Creeps
