I attended a Horror convention located in the Midwest about five years ago where they were hosting multiple current and older stars of the genre. On the last day when everyone was packing up to leave, I happened to walk past a table with this female star of a classic 70's horror film who hasn't done anything near the same level since but will always be remembered for it.  I knew she was done so I just took a step towards her to mention I loved her in a recent TV episode of the same genre. The second she saw me her arm went straight out and she put her hand in my face while looking the other direction. Almost immediately her smarmy handler appeared and started physically pushing me away while informing me that Miss _ was not seeing anyone else today. I tried to explain I understood that and was just passing by but the handler kept smiling condescendingly and pushing me down the aisle.

This was doubly insulting to me since I had just complimented a very nice actress in the next aisle over. The nice actress is mostly known for being in several films by the same horror director based on books by a turn of the century author. She was quite gracious.

Four For Friday - He Stepped In

Back in the day there was a movie. Based on a long-running TV show, and not the only film based on this TV show although  there weren't many after. The director was a B list director who worked in a different capacity for an A list director beforehand.  The star of the movie is a now an A-/B+ actress better known for the permanent A lister she is married too then her acting. At that point, she was a barely known up and comer.

At one point in the filming of the movie, one of the producers, who included a permanent A+ director and a couple of permanent A/A- directors, and then A+ list producer, demanded the actress to do a nude scene that was not previously scripted and was not a part of the film just so they could have an excuse to see her naked. The actress refused and the director declined to film the scene, taking the actress's side, but the producers  threatened the both of them, and pressured them to include the nude scene, even though it made no sense to the film.

The lead actor of the film was actor who would eventually become a B-/C+ lister, at best,  but was at the time a solid A- lister and rising. He would destroy his career with his next film, a leading role in a movie made before its time, but would eke out at least one more major role with a permanent A+ director before fading into direct to video obscurity.   At the time, however, he had power and when he found out what was happening to the actress, he stepped in. He refused to film any more scenes until the producers left her alone. He even suggested a compromise scene that would suggest what the producers "wanted" without even including nudity.  Because he was too important to the film, they couldn't say no, and the actress was spared doing the nude scene.

On the other hand, if the accuser loses any of the director's motions, it is going to be tough to go to trial because of some of the communications made with others about the motive and who is behind the suits.

When absolutely required she will be on the red carpet with the A list male lead, but she hates him.

This massive reality family ultimately has only themselves to blame for the world of hurt they find themselves in. This is what happens when you bring in people from other countries and broker them to your friends in return for payment. However, a lot of this only came to light because of a different reality family. Not the reality family most closely identified with the massive one, although they have their own set of issues going on related to money laundering. No, it is the family that is much smaller in scale but has been beset by their own legal issues as of late. When investigators started in on the smaller family, the smaller family mentioned the larger family. That, in turn led to one branch of the government going in which opened the huge trafficking can of worms.

Among men of a certain generation, you will find some who joined the organization when it was important for career advancement among other things.  One such man was this late legislative leader who holds a record for years of service.  He apologized for his time in the organization.

Two actors, one deceased and one living, also spent some time as members of this organization.

1.) Actor #1, who is deceased, was known primarily for violent action films he made with this late A list director.  One of his last roles was a comedy with this permanent A/A- list comedic actor from that show everyone knows that launches careers.  He joined the organization as a lark as a young man as they were powerful in the rural area where he grew up.  After a couple of meetings, he realized it was a mistake.  The actor was not a racist and he joined the military soon after and left the area

2.) Actor #2, who is still alive but largely retired except for infomercials ,which are often parodied on YouTube, is a character actor who has been in many films with many different actors. He also joined the organization as a young man largely because he dislikes African- Americans and immigrants.  In fact, when one of his children was thought to be dating outside their race, he objected very strongly.  It is not known if he ever formally resigned membership in this organization.  It is rumored he got his first Hollywood job, which was not as an actor, through organization contacts.  This is odd because the religion he practices has traditionally been a target of the organization.

This deceased star was famous in his lifetime for acts of daring that often led to broken bones. These acts were often proceeded by massive hype and at one point he had both a movie and a comic book about him.

It was long known that he was physically aggressive with both his wives but a biography coming out next year goes into more detail. He broke his first wife’s nose and trampled on his second wife’s hand when she tried to leave him also locking her in a closet. He was actually arrested twice for domestic abuse but released quickly and charges were never brought in court.

Much like here in Los Angeles, this former A+ list rapper ignores all zoning laws or defies them or thinks he can get away with breaking the law because of who he is. A new place is discovering how much he will lie to keep doing what he wants and then thinks officials will just cave. None have so far.

It continued until the actress finally caved and paid her sister a monthly sum for the rest of her life. It isn't like the actress wasn't ripe for exploitation. There was the suicide attempt and the bedroom fight with another actress and the domestic violence against her first husband.

Today's Blind Items - The Horror

This actor was not A list at his peak but he was in a number of starring roles in studio films often appearing with A+ stars.  One day this run suddenly ended and the actor seemingly overnight went from roles like in a film featuring a number of elderly actors from Hollywood’s golden age and a film by an A director which copied a certain film by this permanent A+ director to straight to video films and TV shows. In the following decade, he had a role on a soap opera. Currently, he mostly does voice work.  He has also tried his hand at music.

The reason why the actor dropped down a notch or several was due to an incident and its aftermath which occurred during his last over the marquee cinematic release. This was part of a franchise that has a lot of installments.  The deceased director/creator of the franchise was not directing this installment but was on set as he was the co-screenwriter of the film.  This director had a bad reputation with young girls although he was largely free from criticism during his lifetime.  The actor caught the director on set in a compromising position with an 11 year old girl and did what would be natural - punched the director and called the police. However, the Hollywood machine quickly jumped into action telling police the actor was delusional and making sure the 11 year old girl was nowhere to be found.

The studio called a meeting with the actor and told him if he completed the film which was almost finished, they would come clean to authorities about the director and make sure he was prosecuted.  The actor agreed but once the film was finished he discovered the studio took no action against the director who would go on to make many more films and in fact have another successful franchise. At the same time, the actor’s own career dried up and he received no offers for similar level films to the ones he’d been making.

At this point, the actor decided to go to the press. He went to a reporter he knew. However, the reporter was on the take from the studio and reported what they they’d been told by the actor. What followed was a clumsy “accident” that failed to harm the actor at all.  The actor then had another meeting with the studio and advised them that he knew the name of the 11 year old girl and a few other victims of the director and had written them down in a manuscript which was hidden away under lock and key only to appear if anything further was to happen him. The studio backed off and even ended up paying the actor a monthly stipend which continues to this day.

A few decades ago, this actor took a break from film due to his frustration with typecasting and took up another career, receiving formal training. This career involved a type of therapeutic practice. Many of the actor’s clients were those in the prison system seeking to break the poverty-jail cycle. The actor was paid for his work of course but when he eventually took up acting again he continued to do this service for free for those who are incarcerated helping them to change their lives for the better.

This B list singer used to be A list. Hopefully at some point he will be D list. Unfortunately for all of us, he will probably always be famous. Anyway, he is dating a woman who claims to be a model. She is more of the Instagram variety. Probably sells tea or waist trainers on it. Our "model" is probably C list. She would love to be a reality star.  It is a life goal. So far, she has only achieved any level of fame from the people she has hooked up with. I wonder if they know she has a racist past. All of the model's old tweets using the n-word are still on the internet, tweets from back when she was dating a NFL player. This is not a one time thing. This was a daily thing from our model. The thing is her current boyfriend is going to be put in a really awkward position when all of this breaks. He just attracts bad publicity, but this will be really bad.

It has been said that this accident changed the course of rock and roll as it caused the death of a young up and coming musician (whose songs have been covered frequently since by other artists) and further damaged the existing injury of his friend a slightly more established musician leading to severe drug and alcohol and dependency and a shorted life and career for him as well. Both men are considered musical pioneers.

The official story of this accident is not correct specifically who was behind the wheel. The musician who survived had a penchant for speed which is how he had an earlier severe injury.  He had in fact taken the wheel and was driving wildly when the accident occurred. Both musicians had been drinking. However, if this had come out at the time, there would have been a number of problems for the musician - Existing legal issues compounded plus the fact they were not in the USA when it happened. Money changed hands and the owner of the vehicle took the fall.  The guilt for this led to further self-destruction of the surviving musician.

How do we know this?  There were three other people there that day besides the two musicians not two. One of them did speak out to a tabloid also the injuries and the damage to the vehicle make no senses when compared against the official story and one looks at where people were supposed to have been sitting.

Many would recognize his face but perhaps would not remember his name.  His most famous TV role was as the authority figure in a show about education which he won a prestigious award for.  His most famous film role was likely late in his career and involved the home country of his parents in real life.  It is a country also associated with an even more famous actor who played a police detective.  He had a reputation as someone who liked to expose himself to females on set especially female castmates. His co-star on the show he is known for whose last name is a holiday used to complain a lot about how he would unzip his fly and play with himself whenever he talked to her.

Some of the deceased actors who starred in it were this pioneer of early TV who allegedly had an X Rated claim to fame, this actor who fathered an even more famous actor and whose biggest role was as a TV detective, this comedic actor who at the time was in a popular ensemble TV show wherein he played the title character, and this multiple Oscar winner more associated with a different genre.

After shooting was done for the day, the actors would party and these parties would often turn into orgies.  At one of these orgies, a prostitute died. It was an accident as she was very drunk and fell down a flight of stairs. However, there happened to be several Hollywood luminaries visiting the set that day and partying with the actors so to stop any scandal the body was dumped far away from where it happened.  The woman had a police record so there was no further investigation.
