Am I reading wrong or did he say top two? Why choose one when you can choose TWO? Charlie Brown AND Rudlolph.
For all of us who grew up in the seventies, these shows came on ONCE a year, usually at 7:30 or 8:00 and the promo's would start weeks before to get the kids excited. Most of the shows were on CBS, channel 2 in NYC where I grew up. I was gutted if I missed a, 'special" -especially The little Drummer Boy Rudloph or Charlie Brown. I'm kind of glad we couldn't tape them because I would have watched them 100x even in the summer and now they're a special memory associated only with December and Christmas.
