American Music Awards
Considering she has one hit in the last decade, with a whole lot of flops thrown in, it was kind of surprising how diva like she was and how her people kept referring to the former A+ list singer as Ms. _______________. I think they wanted people to stop calling her by her first name, but that was ignored. The diva thing was over the top. She didn't have enough hits to be this much of a diva.

She really needs to just settle down and buy a bar or liquor store, do what you love.
ReplyDeleteHad a friend who went to her recent tour here in the UK, still got it apparently, a really good show with stellar singing. She could still be selling millions today if she had a decent manager who didn't take her B.S. and directed her into the US Adele route.
ReplyDeleteChristina has always had success with her “lite fm” songs. If I were her label, I would encourage her to do that instead of trying to stick to pop music. Like I said in the original blind, her albums this decade have been decent, just not played on the radio or promoted well.

honestly don't see what's weird about her employees referring to her as "ms aguilera"?

DeleteI mean agreed.
DeleteWell, I was checking in at the W Hotel on Lexington Ave a long time ago. That day, Agulera had performed Genie in a Bottle locally in mid-town. There she was suddenly cutting the line right in front of me. Luckily the front desk clerk did the right thing and called me over and ignored her and her handler (who looked like a major creep). This only served to ignite the teen's inner-diva and she let loose with some major attitude and choice words. I rather enjoyed when the front desk manager came over and asked 'who are you?' while at the same time upgrading my room for the inconvenience. She has been a diva for 20 years.
ReplyDelete@Clark, I think being cursed to always be second fiddle to Britney kind of f*cked with Aguilera's head.
ReplyDeleteShe was probably picked second over Britney by the pervs when they were in the Disney Club.
Delete@Brayson, especially tough on Christina when she has a 4 octave, two note voice, and Britney ... does not.
ReplyDelete@Patti, Once again Christina isn't special there either, there are lots of better singers than Britney. But people still like Britney better.
ReplyDeleteAgreed, Britney is a really sweet girl and ALWAYS has been. Xtina has never been kind from anything I've ever heard about her. Diva always and she thinks she's bigger than she is.
ReplyDeleteShe looked terrible too. She needs to stop messing with her face.
ReplyDeleteSomething's always struck me as being off with that girl. For those who can sniff it out, it's all been right there for years.
ReplyDeleteI would not mine having her talent!
ReplyDeleteI can only imagine what she has been through in the Disney era.
If you would have been passed around, like she probably was, you would have the right to be a Diva.
That's it.
