Blind Item #7
This British record label that has gone through several reincarnations seems to sign a lot of female solo singers who were popular and have fallen on hard times. They then ship them all over the world to "record" new material. Once they have "recorded" enough, which can take months, they are brought back to England get to really record one song for release. This foreign born one named singer who used to be A- in England is about to expose them.
EMI?
ReplyDeleteVirgin?
ReplyDeleteJamelia-Superstar ?
ReplyDeleteIsland Records? Tulisa or sinnita for the singer.
ReplyDeleteSinita is american and the eecord co likely has info on Tulisa.
ReplyDeleteI think this an Appleton sister.
It doesn’t say recent singer so I’m saying Lulu.
ReplyDeleteId be surprised if it’s Lulu, Sandybrook. She’s remained a big star in Europe (primarily Great Britain) since the late 60s. Has had a great career, with regular TV and radio hosting gigs. And just toured with Take That this summer (TT and her covered Dan Hartman/Loretta Holloway’s “Relight My Fire” years back. She’s had Top 10 hits in The UK for 6 consecutive decades - probably the only other female solo artist to do that is Cher.
ReplyDeleteWhat about Duffy,Enty's old drinking buddy?
ReplyDeletePolydor for the company?
ReplyDeleteDuffy works.
ReplyDeleteGood! expose them!
