Blind Item #7 - Reader Blind

This popular TV show which ran for a long time and has a new successful version currently running was shot in an exotic locale  The cast and crew, when on location, loved to avail themselves of local prostitutes and even had a special room built on the set where the prostitutes could hang out while they were working.  The only exception to this was the second lead as he preferred guys.

  13. Where did the "Tom Selleck is gay" thing come from? He's been married twice, last one for more than 30 years...
not saying it can't happen - but really?

  15. Holy crap, I never knew that Danno's real life mom was Helen Hayes!

If it was Hawaii Five-O, could these professional ladies' skills get Jack Lord's hair to move? I love watching old episodes, and epic car and boat chases induced barely a bang wiggle.

  16. James MacArthur was 2nd lead. And he's dead. If he was in the closet, just leave him there FFS. These ppl need to die with some secrets.

  18. I heard that Tom Selleck rumor back in the 80's from someone who worked at Morton's in LA. Ditto John Travolta, Dolly Parton and Whitney Houston. I was shocked back then. Now....meh.

  19. I seriously doubt Tom Selleck is gay. Sounds more like a revenge rumor from someone who couldn't handle what a fine specimen of a man he is, or his opinion on certain subjects.

  20. That television show with Ricardo Montebaln, and everybody on the island. How about the short guy as the gay one?

  22. Bee, everyone is gay on CDaN. Maybe you are. Heck, maybe I am?! I've never liked ladybits but I have been to a gay club once. Oh Lawd. I better hit up Ellen and get into this lesbo gang thing.

  23. Yeah, heard about Tom being gay in the 80's .his ad for Marlborough cigarettes before he made it big was stupendous. It was my poster on my binder. LOL. And then he married his wife which quieted the rumors.

  24. Tom Selleck played a gay newsman in a movie with Kevin Kline called "In and Out." Kline is a teacher, engaged for three years to Joan Cusack, who is "outed" during an awards show by a former student, now a successful actor, who thought the teacher was gay. Ultimately, the teacher realises he is gay and seemingly begins a relationship with the Tom Selleck character. This whole thing is based on a true story, when Tom Hanks accidently outed his former drama teacher while accepting an award. Selleck has been married to his current wife, Jilly, a former dancer, for decades and they have an adult daughter. Never heard/read about him being gay, so maybe this movie role is why people are thinking Selleck is gay?
