Does anyone know how he managed to be found not guilty? It's clearly a 'legal' verdict, as in there must be a specific point of law that us plebs don't know about that is divorced from fairness and common sense.

Here's my hot take - those kids weren't soccer players, they were being trafficked. The incident took place in the Golden Triangle, a very dangerous and lawless place. Children get trafficked there in large numbers. The story of going for a walk in a cave with their soccer coach and then continuing to walk downwards so far that the kids had to be rescued only after being knocked out with Ketamine (a notorious date-rape drug) is highly suspicious to say the least. Musk, love him or hate him, is clearly an intel-services puppet, like Zuck and @jack. I'd be willing to bet there is a lot more to the Thai cave boy story than we will ever know. The fact that Musk got away with calling that guy a pedo is the tip of a very large iceberg. I'd bet the guy will not appeal because there is, in fact, pedophilia swirling around this story.
Covington kid will have better results with his lawsuits. Shame on that injun, the media and the celebs for trying to exploit and attack a child.
Media companies cant settle, because it will expose them to constant litigation, unless they remember how to report facts. Going to trial is a huge risk for them, and they cant out spend the kid, because he either has backers or attorneys who want to make a name for themselves.
