Blind Item #3

I told you several years ago that this foreign born permanent A list athlete bailed on financially helping his wife's company at that time. That was the biggest strain on their marriage and when he finally just said no, it made things a lot better for them as a couple. They just couldn't keep throwing money at the company because it was like burning it. However, the wife, a foreign born permanent A- list celebrity, then had to go find new investors who are now realizing the company is crap. Yes, people wear it, but not enough to make any money. People get caught up in the name and don't look at the numbers. Now they are all losing money.

  3. Some of her designs are OK, others are just weird. She just doesn't stand out. Her shop is no different than a Dash store. We know of Christian Siriano because of Project Runway but he actually got an education in the field to become a superstar. Even Amanda Bynes studied fashion which would help her build some gravitas if she ever got her head screwed on right and decided to design clothes. What did Victoria ever do to transition into fashion. Did she do an apprenticeship with an atelier. She brings nothing to the table other than her name and that's not enough.

  4. The Beckhams. I said years ago, Home Shopping Network. If it's good enough for Iman,it's good enough for Posh. She won't,because they have to include plus sizes.

  5. How is Vicky Becks looking these days? Last time I saw her photo, I was shocked. Her eyebrows were looking like two horizonal, straight lines (with NO arches whatsoever) that had slid down her elongated forehead to be seated one inch above her eyes. It was jarring, and not at all attractive.

Apparently this "eyebrow-slide" effect is not uncommon after longterm use of cosmetic botulinum toxin injections. Could also signal that whoever had administered those most recent botox injections had simply gone overboard and used too much. Whatever the cause, it looked awful on Victoria. Hopefully, VB has gone lighter-handed with the injections since. Thankfully, botox is temporary!

Gwen Stefani had a similar wonky forehead/super low-placed straight-line eyebrow look in her 'Used to Love You' video. Ladies, PLEASE GO EASY ON THE FOREHEAD SHOTS!! The eyebrow-slide will result in you looking like a descendant of Groucho Marx. Not cute. JUST.SAY.NO!

  6. Christian Sirano's Project Runway season showed him to be a truly gifted designer, he does not deserve to be put in the same category as Amanda Bynes or Victoria Beckham.

I agree. Posh needs to negotiate with HSN/QVC. She would sell a lot of stuff if she could be somewhat flexible with styling and sizing. Iman sells there and a few other "big" names have sold there.
A brand like Beckham's just can't make it today doing things the old-fashioned way. Even Zac Posen went out of business and he actually is a brilliant designer.

  8. She would have to go on tv and chat with these hosts.

  9. @sandybrook, after a few drinks Vicky is rather witty. And the hosts do great cover for celebrities, see Jessica Simpson's meltdown.

  10. Just for the record: VB is and will always be a beer, not a foreign born permanent A- list celebrity like Posh.

  11. She's so stuck in a 20th century idea of fashion. Plus, her cheesy image is out of line with the brand's luxury prices.

  12. Vicky Beckam should be selling her billboard forehead space for advertisements.

  13. Her clothes are waaay too expensive for what they are.

  14. Her clothes are over priced crap. She has had loads of surgery but still tries to proclaim otherwise. Or that it’s due to her shite skincare and cosmetics range. They pimp their children out over social media every day. Despite the fact they are utterly moronic. David constantly cheats on her. Is an arrogant, self obsessed twat who isn’t going to get the knighthood he so desperately craves. They are so thirsty it actually beggars belief. No one in Britain falls for their staged, tired antics anymore. All they have to cling to is the ‘brand’ as they let go of their dignity and self respect decades ago!!

  15. Ugly clothes and only people who are into, and thus fooled by, the illusion of "class" would but it. As for VB, anyone seen the video where she carefully stages her exit (stopping and starting over) for the waiting hired paparazzi? Really funny and a great example of how fake ALL of this is.

You know I really wish both Victoria Beckham's Line and Marchesa would just finally shut down.

Like honestly I don't know how many more chances both of These Brands need for people to finally realize that there not worth saving and promoting.

  17. You know, I actually like some of her clothes. Went to the site and saw a beautiful red dress that I would wear in a heartbeat but 1. It was way too expensive and 2.)It doesn't come in my size. Some of the commenters above are correct in that she should really try to sell her brand via HSN/QVC but she will have to let go of that high-luxury image she seems to be stuck on. People want trendy, fashionable, quality clothing and they want it fast and at a good price. Now if VB were to take a cue from Jessica Simpson she could very well recoup her losses.

  18. @Hunter: I was not making a comparison in terms of quality or creativity. I was simply trying to illustrate success as it relates to effort and natural gifts. Siriano works hard and actually has talent and has succeeded in a short period of time. Amanda who is much newer in this game at least went the education route to get in. Victoria has done none of that. She has not built any kind of repertoire to assist her succeed in such a difficult market.
