She is a hot mess without being controlled though...I dont think she knows how to behave normal. Just check all the lame videos she posts on instagram....she has the IQ of a 12 year old girl.
She's been in communication.... with whom? What, she decides to break free from her tightly controlled life of leisure and reaches out to [an influential business person? a team of therapists? noo...] an anonymous gossip blogger? LOL. Okay.
Eff her. She publicly craps on the people who correctly warn that she's been enslaved by abuse of the conservatorship mechanism, which is not meant to put adults to work for life at someone else's will and with no financial control. Either she is too damn sick to be exploited for financial gain for decades as an adult or she is well enough to have basic human freedoms every damn 18 year old has.
Bleu - it's entirely possible somebody else is running her accounts.
It is known Enty has had contact with Britney's life in a variety of ways over the years so a third party is not such a leap to believe.
I think there could be a very reasonable middle ground between the complete control she is under and a more open conservancy but because of her money making it is not allowed to be.
Well, her family, not some vigilante fanclub, are the only ones who actually know what her circumstances are and what is needed. Don't they have to provide the court with evidence of her current state and benefits of the conservatorship to keep it going?
When that random guy pointed out that junky Demi Lovato used auto-tune, Britney pulled a typical mean-girl "ooh you're creepy" on him. She's no saint, and is a danger to the public.
Seriously, what’s Brit’s current relevancy outside of being a social media freak show? Her music doesn’t sell, she’s not touring/performing anywhere (and doesn’t seem to have plans to do so). Her only current value seems to be as gossip fodder.
The last time this seriously mentally ill woman was "in control of her own life", she was wearing a pink wig and shaving her head.
She won't live long after her father passes. He's kept her alive all these years. If Jacko has someone who would have intervened the way Britney's father did, he would likely still be alive also.
Shaving one's head and wearing pink wigs is not grounds for a conservatorship. Her problems likely places her life or the lives of her children at risk. Yes they keep her alive and physically healthy. But if an adult can't even have an iPhone, something is terribly wrong. I said this before, she needs life skills, her parents can't treat her like a child forever.
Poor Brit. A cocktail of meds and treatment have failed her? (I know some of y'all have kin who are manic, so please forgive my ignorance on this subject - I mean no offense - I thought meds, etc would help her lead a "normal" life sans conservator.)
I think the severity of her conservatorship indicates schizophrenia and schizophrenics are notorious for thinking they are fine and going off their meds. If the courts continue to approve the conservatorship there must be a very good reason. I'm sure her parents don't want her to do recreational drugs, have more pregnancies or abortions, or have people take advantage of her and spend all her money.
Children *do not* belong in show business. Why do you suppose Max Martin cast one kid in his new group, over thousands of others.... What protection did Amanda Bynes have, in those Nickelodeon studios... Why did the Cyrus parents sell their own kid, changing her into Hannah Montana... Is it any wonder these young people end up with mental illness and addiction? Tragic; Sending them love and light
Nope. She simply isn’t capable of the responsibility, despite being on meds. I say this as someone who has just buried a sibling who also should not have had full control of his welfare.
@Daryls... +1000000. Apparently it's pretty common knowledge that Britney was a victim of the hollywood pedo mill.. I blame her parents who even if they weren't complicit by pimping her out for their benefit certainly should have checked more thoroughly into what they were allowing her to be a part of. Maybe that's why dad has been so steadfast in keeping control- trying to right the wrong that caused the situation. @ Habibti- it is said that without good long term counseling (and even with for some people) many victims of abuse stop emotionally progressing beyond the time their psyche finally breaks so 12 would probably be about right. I feel sorry for Brit- she is irreparably broken and really needs to constant oversight because to Jeannies and TwoDots points when the damage is such that medication is required at all times someone must keep watch. Streets in the US are overrun with people with mental illness who have the same issues but none of the resources that Brit has, sadly the outcome for many of them is not good. @TwoDots.. I am so very sorry for your loss.
Honestly its her father's fault she's ended up this way. She could have retired years ago, but they pushed her for more $! She needs Larry Rudolph back in her life and needs to be semi retired!
Brit
