Blind Items Revealed #6 - Anniversary Month

September 4, 2018

Dear Parents/Potential Momagers &Dadagers,

I am going to tell you a little story. The warning is for parents with children who want to get them into show business. The rest of you will like it because this involves some big names who are in on the scam. Oh, it is a scam. A big scam.

There is a "manager" who targets kids for these scams. Why? Kids have parents who have money. Starving artists don't have money.

What this manager does is to sign up kids for their workshops. Of course you have to pay to attend these workshops. Many parents are leery of having to pay for things like this, but the manager has an answer for it. There is an animated movie set to be made. It is going to star this A- list mostly movie actress ALL of you know and her husband who is A list. They are going to be the voices. They know their names are being used for this, but have done nothing about it because apparently the mother of the manager "discovered" the actress. It has also been suggested that the mother of the actress makes some bucks from it too.

If you sign up for the workshop, not only are you learning some acting but you are helping to finance the movie and of course you will get a role. Nothing could be further from the truth. They have been running the scam for years and hundreds, if not thousands of people have given their money to these people.

Jessica Biel/Justin Timberlake/MDM

  1. Well these two have been running a scam marriage past us for several years, so this isn't shocking either. Apparently scam workshops must be big business out there, since Ariel Winter has one too, and Franco used his to get laid. Who else?

  2. There are so many of these scams out there, I’m sure half of the people regularly mentioned on this site get a cut—I’m looking at you Selena Gomez and Justin Beiber

  3. Wasn't Guy Fieri involved in some school scam?

  4. @sandybrook,I was going to say,if they offered themselves up to the students like Franco and Spacey, there would be a lot of takers! Has there been any formal complaints for either? Are they still operating?

  5. Forgot Spacey's..I think people who get scammed hesitate to report it because they are feeling humiliated as it is without it being widely known they got scammed.

  6. not to mention, the manager's mother should never work again if she thought biel had any talent. she is the worst actress. it's hard to think of anyone worse.

  7. Bet Thanksgiving was really fun in their house this year, nothing like getting before family holidays.

  8. First unspoken rule: if their logo looks grainy and pixelated online like they can't even afford to put up a high-res version of it, zoom the other way.

  9. I’m confused though who is the manager?

  10. @Sam, the manager is Diane McFarland, formerly of MDM (is it still going, though?) and "McFarland Entertainment" (a few 'formerly's). She is the one that apparently that helped Jessica Biel and Keri Russell.

  11. In the fine print it probably states, "At the end of this course, you will have the acting talents of Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake". In other words, when the students still have no talent, they can't sue?
