I think it's disturbing that court documents are automatically available to the public, even in divorce cases. I doubt either one of them is running to the press with these leaks.

ReplyDeleteIronically, the strictest gun laws with registration are in cities/ states in the USA where illegal gun use/ murder rates are the highest.
ReplyDeleteYou do not have to register for most guns in most states. Gun laws vary based on the state and even its you are in.
And, by not having to register, I am talking shot guns and rifles. Pellet guns you can buy at Walmart as long as you are over 18 in most states. Pellet guns are different from "real guns" because there is no gun powder in them. They are considered "non powder guns."
I have a feeling this fact matters in the Renner case because he is domiciled in CA right?

DeleteAlso, just wanted to add....it would very easy to prove if he owns the pellet gun via receipts/ credit card purchases to see if he is a registered gun owner.
ReplyDeleteI know he has all the money in the world and could get a gun illegally...but, from a legal standpoint (not moral)...if he can prove it it will hurt her case. There are zero laws against him firing a pellet gun off in his room away/ not in front of his child. Again I don't know what to believe and that is up to the judge to decide, but, this is just a perfect example of how custody battles can be super messy and complicated. We really do not know all the facts at this point.
LOL and I really could care less about Renner. The only thing I have seen him in was the Hurt Locker years ago.
This isn't Renner's usual description. Isn't he the "failed franchise star"?
ReplyDeleteThe point isn't the legality of him owning a gun or firing it, it is a custody case in which his good judgement is being called into question. And firing a gun in the house while a child is in the house is not good judgment. It will hurt *his* case.

ReplyDeleteBut, he did in the privacy of his own bedroom, not in front of his child and the only way the child knew it happened was because the nanny, which his ex paid for and is buddy with said it.
ReplyDeletePiss poor judgement and I would have an issue with my child being around it, but, technically speaking, we are taking the word of a woman who is close friends, allegedly with his ex.
Again, I am not trying to justify any of Renner's actions, I am just talking about how muddled custody/ money can become.
Oh and "technically speaking" the child was not around and did not witness it. The nanny, hired by the mother, paid for it.

@auntliddy...spot on! It is amazing how long it takes Renner and other celebrities to figure out who theyr real friends and their "Hollyweird" friends are. Real friends care. Fake friends/ gf/ wives are bought and sell you the deepest secrets of the STARS...ALLOWED, of course, by the NDA.

Renner also hijacks fans' jeeps and drives them haphazardly to his next concert. He meets them at the concert venue, tosses the keys back at them and laughs. He doesn't even give them gas money or offer to wash the jeep after he drives it through rough dirty terrain.
