The cast members flaunt wealth and privilege and most don't have normal jobs if they do have a job. "Normal" people watch the show and wish they had the material wealth and luxury the cast members have, but in reality,many cast members seem unhappy and even miserable. They gossip viciously about each other and many of them have failed marriages or worse. One former housewife has a daughter who became a porn actress and others have children who are in prison. The morality lesson is that we normal people have better lives and should be happy we don't have the material luxury or fame of the housewives. The shows are junk food TV and entertaining because the housewives are fools that we laugh at and judge. In a sense we feel sorry for them which is the opposite of what the housewives think we should feel. They want to be adored and admired and the be center of attention.
Perfectly stated. Most ppl have never been deeply depressed with the benefit of access to a lot of money.. but speaking from experience.. you can’t buy happiness. It can elevate stress of bills. But it’s an illusion that having money and acquiring stuff is the goal in life that will make you happy. Having friends and family and ppl who love you, who you love back, is what brings real, genuine joy and happiness. Without those things, money and materialistic possessions are just an empty shell.. like a dead body..

The housewives shows are my secret vice. Snuggz Bear hit the nail on the head. Emily is absolutely gorgeous. She is not a bleached, piece of gristle with bolt ons. She is a lawyer and I think she is the single support for her family. I don’t know how he convinced her to marry him but she needs to GTFO. It is not good for those little ones to see them arguing all the time. They deserve a happy mommy.

I don’t think Erika or Braunwyn would leave their husbands but Emily should divorce gay Shane. I don’t think she will because she likes the lifestyle his family provides her. What about Kyle? Maybe she got sick of being cheated on.
