I think it's entirely possible to make shitty choices in your personal life but to still love and support your children. Yes, Ethan married the nanny, doesn't mean he would sit by and watch others try to take advantage of his daughter, or purposely pimp her out to further her or his own career. It's sad that this is the bar, but in a Post-Kardashian society, there you have it.
