Blind Item #3

If they hadn't forced out the show runner and other executive producers/writers, the show would have probably gone several seasons. It just shows that the awful actress turned reality star turned out of work once again actress and her partner in crime who think they knew best, made a mess of a franchise. I wonder if the awful actress took advances on another season of the show and is in debt again.

    1. There are no new ideas. Except maybe Netflix and steaming channels and look what they are into👀

  2. In all honesty Tricia I couldn't get into much on Netflix either. One of their most popular shows glorified teenage suicide. Luckily i'm a huge sports fan which makes up for most of my television consumption :)

    1. I agree too(not about the sports only because I don’t watch much lol). Telling you watch Schitts Creek on demand for a good laugh!

  4. And, the new ideas are not really good. I have watched some original programming on Netflix and the problem is there is a lot of it, but, it is all pretty mediocre. The original movies are honestly awful.I forget it as soon as I watch it. We will finally watch the second season of White Gold this weekend so hopefully that is good.

  7. Tricia, watch FLEABAG. Crazy good fun! Especially the hot priest last season storyline. My FAVORITE 'love' story of all time on any TV outlet!

    1. Yes- it must be good-won Emmy right? I will check
It out. Did you ever watch Broad City? Think it’s coming back (could be wrong)

  8. With Netflix, it seems like you either get it or you don't. Which is cool, different strokes for different folks.

  9. +1kiki, Fleabag on Prime is great, and the second season is tighter than the first plus has the awesome Andrew Scott, best known for playing Moriarty on Sherlock. Not to be confused with Adam Scott who is great too.

Ugh, I was going to mention something about the "Kneel" scene but I don't want to give away any spoilers.

  10. Tori has a self-sabotage streak. People on here actually seemed to enjoy the 90210 reboot. I guess this means the plug was pulled.

  11. Why doesn't Candy Spelling just give Tori enough money until she dies, so Tori doesn't have to work and embarrass herself? She seems sadistic to me, withholding money, holding that credit card debt over her head.

  12. Yah I was thinking about checking out the 90210 reboot and before I could it was cancelled haha so probably not worth it now

  13. I watched Beverly 90210 back in the day. I must be one of the few who actually liked the summer reboot.

Agree about Schitt's Creek. I think I've seen every episode four times. Love Dan Levy.

  14. I started watching Schitt’s Creek the other day because Ive seen some people here recommending before.. Its sooo good, im already halfway done lol Dan Levy is so fucking funny

  15. I'm only sticking with Netflix for The Irishman and the next F is for Family in the new year.

    Amazon is far better.

  16. @Vic, With the exception of Fleabag, Prime has too many British/BBC sh!t collaborations. I mean isn't that like you guys paying twice for the same content anyway? ;)

  17. 90210 / Jennie and Tori
I also heard from a friend that they all asked for a shit ton of $$ and Fox was like LOL, no

In other news, I am on Season 9 of my latest rewatch and it is so sad how they pushed out every other female on the show.

  18. I LOVE Bill Burr and F is for Family. I also know as much as cannot stand DeZero I am going to watch The Irishman for Pesci and Pacino. lol I am also debating cancelling Netflix...definitely when all the classic tv shows like The Office go elsewhere. I also found that I am hesitant to start watching series just starting out and haven't been around a few seasons.

My trust has been burned in tv shows since GoT ended so terribly and I invested and wasted so much time in it. haha

  19. The 90210 reboot was actually very funny and enjoyable. The stars need to realize they are all pretty much has been artists and should’ve been happy with a renewal and not asked for more money.

  20. I’m in full agreement - watching Schitt’s Creek will make you believe in tv again. Daniel Levy and Katherine O’Hare are national treasures. Second favorite is the aforementioned Fleabag. Also brilliant.

  21. Just started Scitt's Creek about 2 weeks ago, don't know what rock I was living under!

    It's amazing.

  22. If you guys like Canadian comedy check out Letter Kenny, Trailer Park Boys (a bit older), Corner Gas, and Baroness Von Sketch. They're all good for a laugh.

  23. LOVE the Trailer Park Boys especially the older seasons.

  24. @Hush, Trailer Park Boys gets me with the surprise laughs and crazy sh!t out of nowhere. Like why Ricky, why would you do that? 🤣😂

Actually great Canadian comedy and global warming are why Canada has been flagged for future US annexation.

  25. @Brayson Yeah we'll have longer growing seasons, and an ice free arctic Northwest Passage, that China will immediately start sailing through. Canada has gone left of Bernie Sanders, that'd be hard for middle America to accept, Alberta for sure, but Quebec and BC? Trudeau and Joy Behar trick or treating together like the 90's movie Soul Man.

  26. Hmm🤔

    Good point Brayson.

But seeing as I don't watch much British TV -especially BBC ones- these days, I hadn't actually noticed.

  27. I love, love Atypical on Netflix. They have autistic people pegged. And it gives me hope my students can have normal loves as adults.

    ReplyDelete
  28. @hhstarr, They're doing what to autistic people? ;)

  29. I hate reboots too. Cringe.

I like reruns of Frasier and the Nanny. Ha

I totally need to watch Schitt's Creek.

And JB Smoove alluded to Curb Your Enthusiasm coming back. Yay.

  30. They show people with autism as humans. As intelligent people with a tole in society.
