Blind Item #3
That closeted foreign born A- list mostly television actor was told by his people that he needed to start being seeing again with women, which of course led to a huge falling out with the current boyfriend.

ReplyDeleteBrandon moved out......?!!!
DeleteOn God no....
They were perfect together !
I dunno what to believe now....
John Madden football coach?
ReplyDeleteMadden. Still curious to know who tipped off the DM the first time around.....
ReplyDeleteOh and Richard Madden (Robb stark from GoT)
ReplyDeleteYeah we know who we meant lol. Something about that “foreign born” TV actor lends itself a lil more than a football coach ....😉
Deletehaha just making sure! you never know....
ReplyDeletehave you seen some of the guesses when you aren't around Tricia? haha
Not too often no... 😊. But believe it it not I never saw one episode of GoT!!
DeleteWell given how GoT ended count your blessings!!! Way to NOT waste hours of your life after that huge disappointment that was the last season was haha
ReplyDeleteAt least the last season had decent battles and great special effects. If you've watched Lost then you'll know that GoT didn't have the worst last season by far.
ReplyDeleteGuess Madden has to sell that he's at least bi or something that lets you bang whatever you want.
ReplyDeleteAgreed about final seasons, Brayson
ReplyDeletehaha did not watch Lost but did watch Dexter and How I Met Your Mother...so I get the pain.
ReplyDelete(spoilers...but it has been 5 years people LOL)
A damn lumberjack, Dexter and handing off his kid to another serial killer?!?! and HIMYM ending with a couple that the show spent 9 years telling you why they did not work...and after spending a final season on a wedding that takes 10 minutes in the finale for them to break up! GRRR
But, yah I guess there are worse show endings given how there were some cool battle scenes in GoT looking on the bright side of things. :)
It will just be along time before I can rewatch GoT if ever knowing how stupidly it ends (and the prequels will not change the crap ending) . I can rewatch Dexter up to season 4, but, I still cannot watch reruns of HIMYM. LOL
I agree with everything you say about both shows. My God. Why do they ruin what once were such great shows
Delete@TeeHee, You did better than I did, I could barely watch Dexter after the first season. That first season was a work of beauty, just garbage after that. First season they got that Dexter was a bad guy no different than Ted Bundy or John Wayne Gacy, except for the quirk that he honored his dead cop father by only killing other bad people.
ReplyDeleteHIMYM's last season sucked for a variety of reasons, it's worth looking it up.
@Tricia I too have never seen GOT. Not interested. Dexter though the whole series I loved it !!
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen GoT or Dexter or anything else mentioned here. This year I watched Saul, ElCamino, Mrs.Maisel and that's about it. OH and South Park every week. I can't help it. I had no idea the plot of Dexter was about killers. JEEZ No wonder the youth are so f'd up. I found Ren and Stimpy highly disturbing and wouldn't let my children watch it. I think that's when the disturbing stuff really started in that realm re: Nik and the cartoon channels. Like parents weren't paying attention to these shows because they were cartoons? I dunno. Baffling. SO GLAD my children are grown. I can't imagine navigating all that garbage out there now.
ReplyDelete@momo I am just getting started with a family and it is worse than it was for me 15 years ago when I was in high school. Sounds like your kids were lucky that you cared! :)
ReplyDeleteThe graphic nature that anyone can find super easily on streaming networks/ internet now days and how porn is so easily findable....is scary!! I still have a few years before that happens, but goodness I am not looking forward to that. Kids are attached to internet devices at such a young age now and even if you have parental controls on your child, well, the same cannot be said for the kids they will be going to school with.
I also found Ren and Stempy creepy growing up and then I found out how Nick shows were written by Dan Schneider and some other pedos and they were running kids programming that I was watching. And, subliminal messaging was definitely there (foot fetishes, Ren and Stempy and anal sex jokes) in those kids shows (there are some YouTUbe videos exposing this).
Yah. Dexter was about a vigilante, serial killer whose "code" was only to kill people who have killed other innocent people. I loved it but I am also into the psychological thrillers and Forensic files/ Dateline/ID stuff. But, also South Park, Archer and the BB/ Better Call Saul universe as well! I find myself also just sticking to the classic streaming these days. Most of what is out is garbage these days it seems. :(
I will never forget watching the HIMYM finale though. The people I was watching it with could not believe what was happening before our eyes and we were SO PISSED. GoT I was underwhelmed and like wtf? but not just straight up mad.
I thought HIMYM would be a forever classic about how people in their 20s/30s should not give up hope on finding their future spouse, EVEN if it is hard and takes a long time there is still hope to keep on trying because eventually you will find it. Well, guess not! Let's just stick with the original ending that we had imagined even though all of our characters outgrew that original ending. The ending could have worked if the show had ended at season 5, but, by season 9 it just did not fit any of the character's growth.
Momo, I finally got cable after my kids left the house. It's when I could finally afford it. They were not well pleased!
ReplyDeleteWe rented movies in the evenings, walked to the dairy queen, or went to church.
TeeHee, you can watch what your kids watch. It's worth it. Best of luck!
