Blind Item #11

This studio keeps lowering expectations for this rebooted installment of a franchise. Two months ago they were saying $25M in the opening weekend and now they would be ecstatic with $10M which would still make it a huge bomb.

Charlie’s Angels. A reboot nobody wanted starting nobody anyone wants to see directed by a bimbo who aged off the casting couch.

  2. I think the Charlie's Angels reboot

  3. Not one of those three is Angel worthy or of any interest to the public at large.

  4. Agreed. The trailer looks stupid and bimbo awful. At least with the previous movie incarnation, the actresses made their characters smarter and wittier than the material.

  5. Definitely Charlie's Angels...$10 million? Wow this is down from projections just a week ago of $14 million.

Kristen Stewarts days of lead are over except maybe in quirky indie movies or large ensemble casts where she is not the lead. Also, she looks so uncomfortable in any PR event where she is wearing a dress or anything remotely feminine....which is fine, but, she looks so uncomfortable and miserable to be there.

My God I found that here !

Good! I hope Charlie's Angels Bomb.

Because maybe then Kristen Stewart will finally wake up and realize that She needs to Play The Game More.

And listen I use to be a Huge of of Kristen Stewart. But the problem I have with Her now is.

I feel She has steered so far to the left these day's with Her Gayness ( I mean She's literally Dressing Butch now ).

That I now feel unless Her Team at WME Steps in soon.

A Year from now Her only options could very well be doing only either LGBTQ Indies or Maybe The New Version Of The L Word.

And if She fine with doing only those type of Projects, then that's great but ultimately I do think She wants to be up there with Rob.

And so I think it needs to be Make or Break time with Her and Her Team.

    1. i am no fan of kristen stewart's acting but i have no problem with a gay woman acting like a gay woman if that's how she feels comfortable. it shouldn't impact on whether she gets roles or people go see her movies (she shouldn't get roles and people shouldn't see her movies imo but, again, that's because she is Bad At Acting)

  9. Well let's see if we can do the math here. They took a classically misogynistic series and ... tried to sell it to women viewers? And they're surprised it didn't work out?

  10. Maybe Stewart WANTS to "steer left with Her Gayness". Wow. Who cares? I'm sure she's fine with you not being a fan anymore.

I'm starting to have a problem with Elizabeth Banks ruining franchises. Pitch Perfect was great fun, and would have continued if Banks hadn't taken over for #2. It's been tobogganing downhill ever since. Now she seems to be tanking the good will that Drew Barrymore put into 'Angels'. Sadly, Banks has no shortage of producing projects coming up, so this does not bode well.

  11. Charlie’s Angels that’s why there weren’t early screenings for critics. Whoever cast the movie did a horrible job, no one wants to see Kristen Stewart in anything!!!

  12. Spot on Gold1984. it is make it or break it time.

She has seemed really desperate in this press tour this time around so maybe she is feeling the pressure from her team that this movie might be make it or break it for her. For example, her Howard Stern interview talking about Rob and the affair and how she could married him. That was a last ditch effort to me to try and draw in the old Twilight fans to the movie. But, those days are over.

I see a Katherine Moenning future for her as you kind of alluded to @Gold1984.

  13. There's gotta be more to life than movies and TV. Shows like these will help us find it.

    ReplyDelete
  14. lol... I thought there couldn't be an "angel" less appealing than Drew Barrymore.

    Then Kristen Steward came along.

    ReplyDelete
  15. They're already rolling out the "if you don't think this is the greatest movie ever, you're a misogynist asshole" shaming articles like they tried with that rebooted Ghostbusters bullshit.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Hey J, what you got against 2000 Drew Barrymore?

    ReplyDelete
  17. I'm just surprised they didn't unload it Netflix first.

I was listening to Kristen on Howard and she was trying to explain the plot. She clearly had no idea what the movie was about. She was also pretty arrogant about saying if she had been in Snow White II it would have been a hit movie. She was the shitiest part of the first one. It's like she wants to act and not be famous yet be famous on her terms. That's not how life works.

  18. Brayson, just not attractive. The whole premise is the irresistibility of these women. She's as resistible as fruitcake from three Christmases ago.

    ReplyDelete
  19. When I see commercials for Charlie’s angels I can only say. FOR WHY? CRAP

    ReplyDelete
  20. Kristen just doesn't seem to care about anything, she comes across so cynical and conceited like she's smarter than everyone, especially us non artists.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Charlie's angels is going to be such a huge bomb. No one wants to see that garbage. Spot on @Brayson.

    ReplyDelete
  22. @J, Oh Drew was a cutie, definitely hotter than Cameron Diaz.

  23. Anonymous1:45 PM

I agree TeeHee@U I could definitely see an Katherine Moenning Future for Kristen sadly. Hell I could even see Her doing Twilight Conventions in a Year or so & certainly not by choice.

But at the same time I can't fee too bad for Kristen's Career. Because the sad part is She brought this on Herself by acting like She could not only do whatever She want's but also Look however She want's as well and would never receive any blow back from it - which is of course not true at all.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Kristen’s face tells us exactly who she is. A miserable bitch. Who wants to pay money to see that when there are several of those I know in real life and avoid.

    ReplyDelete
  25. She always looks like she's in agony. So go be an accountant then

    ReplyDelete
  26. Brayson, let me know if you need the name of a good optometrist.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Agree that Kristen has an attitude problem. She was on GMA with her two costars and she couldn't be more bored. They were trying to sell the "we became such good friends on set" shpiel, and Kstew just shot them this death-stare. She sat there wiggling her foot during the entire segment looking annoyed, like they were making her late for her Starbucks run.

  28. WHO is the target demographic for the new CHARLIE'S ANGELS reboot anyway? NO ONE likes Kristen Stewart and she is the most recognizable of the three faces on billboards and ads. Re-inventing Bosley has a woman is interesting and while I LOVE Banks, she should have cast a campier wider appeal version for the woman Bosley than herself. She can produce... director, whatever, but inserting herself was a mistake. I still content how and WHY is Hollywood still casting Stewart? Her delivery is beyond cardboard. She looks like she doesn't want to be there. What was the thinking in doing this movie this way?

    ReplyDelete
  29. @timebob ditto on laughing at Stewart in SW2. I thought it was funny in one we were supposed to believe that in ANY universe she was young Snow White was supposed to be more beautiful than evil queen Charlize. She wishes lol!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  30. KStew is from the peerage so she will be shoving her clammy dyke snatch in your face as long as she wants. As for her 'tude, God only knows what Jody Foster did to her on Panic Room when she was eleven. Of course engineered bombs like this mean washed dollars. There's no other reason to put a bimbo in charge of any enterprise unless it was supposed to fail.

  31. Enty just rephrased something that can be found easily on the web. It was on Deadline something like three weeks ago (October 24).

"On the downside, Sony’s reboot of Charlie’s Angels, directed by Elizabeth Banks and starring Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott and Ella Balinska, is off to a very slow start in forecasts, ideal now with young females but right now at $16M, with the studio seeing lower between $12M-$13M for what is being reported as a $48M net production."

  33. @Angela, So you're saying that Enty is right then? You went out and did some research finding that Enty is right. Good work, keep it up.

  34. Why would anyone go see a reboot of a reboot...of a TV show?
Geez - it hasn't even been long enough for a reboot - even if you thought it was ever a good idea - which it wasn't.

  35. @Brayson87

You totally miss the point, which isn't very surprising. The site has always used commonly available information to turn them into blinds. For instance, years ago, the story about Stallone and growth hormones was found in a local newspaper, except that the newspaper hadn't realized the implications. Enty merely reworded it, as if it were some scoop of his own. Or any time there's some situation involving a celebrity who has a lot of substance abuse stories in their past, you can be sure that Enty will imply the celebrity has fallen off the wagon. It isn't that complicated to make an educated guess.

Any gossip site needs a few "verifiable" stories to make the rest of the stuff look legit. That also enables the most stupid readers of the bunch to attack anyone challenging some ridiculous blind items by claiming that Enty is "most of the time" right. Of course, darling, he's right... for the stuff he takes from actual industry publications and tries to pass as something he has some privileged access to.

If someone says that the sky is blue, I won't dispute that. If someone says "I got word from a well placed source that the sky is blue, which allows me to say that all the celebrities you can't stand are coincidentally involved in huge pedo rings", that's a way to trick people. And your very reaction shows me that some basic explanation is then required.

  36. I can’t believe any of the stars actually expected the movie to do well. As long as they get paid they’re ok with some bombs.

  37. @Low Key

It's not exactly hard to feel "superior" to people who ate all the Himmmm stuff until the very end, even if there had been documented reports on him since 2012. By the way, if you want to elaborate on the issue, the floor is yours.

    ReplyDelete
  38. @Angela:

Unfortunately, @Low Key is not available at the moment, so I hope she doesn’t mind if I ‘take the floor’ in her absence.

Talley Griffith sadly died by suicide. Clearly, he was a troubled soul, and my thoughts and prayers are with him, his friends, and his family. End of story.

Please stop trying to trash his reputation; it just further proves that you are the sad, pathetic, person that you appear to be. If you have an issue with Enty, please either email him directly, or stop frequenting this site. Trust me, you won’t be missed.

  39. Kstew needs to look at Jodie and emulate her. she is a total class act, groomed impeccably and snappy dresser. no tumbled out of bed without a shower look from Jodie! and super talented.

  41. How is Charlie's Angels a franchise tho?

    ReplyDelete
  42. @Aquagirl

You're an hypocrite, that's as simple as that. You don't want any legitimate questioning over the blind items posted here, and for that you're ready to play the "you're trashing the reputation of a dead guy" card, while I only made a reference to people taking the material he provided as true for a long time.

TG's own family has indeed acknowledged that he would post made up stories on the Internet. They didn't say this, due to me or some other supposed harassers pressuring them, but because one of his actual victims, a woman that he had catfished, was posting nonsense about the beauty of the relationship she had with his "boyfriend", something that even his own relatives couldn't appreciate or understand, as she herself claimed. For the record, I've never engaged privately with TG or his relatives, and I've always asked people to leave his family alone, even when he was alive and someone here was posing as a relative.

Sorry to crush your dreams (well, the accusations you were obviously implying), but I have nothing to do with his death, and I feel nothing but sadness about his suicide or the life this guy probably had.

The real problem has always been Enty's attitude, as for a decade he was happy to publish any story that TG would provide, even if it made no sense that a single person or even a collective of Hollywood insiders would know so many outrageous stories and be willing to share them here.
TG had actually been convincingly exposed as early as 2012 (by other people). Yet, Enty never bothered to take these reports into consideration and would still post dozens of stories about the Emmy Awards (or any other ceremony) afterparties provided by somebody who had never been there and didn't know anybody who was there. Most of the material TG actually supplied over the years went indeed uncredited. It's only in 2017 and 2018 that these stories were sourced to "Himmmm".

So, it would be a better use of your time to direct your anger at Enty, because he never checked TG's credentials and posted material that was a fabrication for a very long time and made you believe in such fake stories. Either he was tricked by a convincing impersonator of multiple celebrities (during 11 years, and TG's style was quite repetitive...) or he deliberately decided to exploit TG's gift for outrageous stories and impersonating celebrities for the personal benefit of the blog and himself.
In both cases, the result was that he enabled for years the delusions of someone who was actually ill, and he was actually directly involved with him. It also allowed TG to do some catfishing on his own.

Or direct your anger at yourself. Why were you stupid enough to assume you had found a place where actual "A-list" insiders would come and share increasingly disturbing stories about Hollywood? Why didn't you notice the obvious turn towards conspiracies and child molestation rings since 2017? Why are you so eager to embrace content that match your own prejudices?

It's to prevent other people from becoming someone like you that my reminders can be actually useful.
Yes, most of the content of the site is fake. The guy who was Enty's largest provider for a decade had zero current connections to the industry. He just had a vivid imagination. It legitimately casts doubts over the rest of the content provided to Enty here, as it must get as much of a check-up as the Himmmm material.
Yes, there are "true" stories on the site, but it's also easy to see that, like for this Charlie's Angels-related blind, that they are just lifted from a public source, and rephrased to make it look like Enty had actual access to the secrets of a major studio. These stories are planted here and there to allow Enty to "reveal" them a couple of weeks later and give the illusion that it's almost always right.

And yes, it's important to remind people of all that rather than letting them be tricked by a fraud.

  43. I wish they would leave things alone in Hollyweird. No one asked for this reboot. Kristen Stewart is a horrible actor. Her mouth is either open or shes just vacantly staring. I dont care if shes gay and dresses like a man. What i want her to do is take a friggin bath. Her stylist must have a coronary every time she sees her. This movie will bomb not just bc of who is in it and who directed it. It will be bc people are sick of reboots. No one is interested in watching the same things over and over.

    ReplyDelete
  44. I've said this before and I'll say it again, Kristin's best acting was in Zathura when her character was frozen.

Methinks it's time for KStew to don a producer or director's hat, and be behind the camera.
